I recently used the K&N Air Filter Cleaning Kit on my vehicle’s K&N filter, and I am extremely impressed with how well it works! This kit makes maintaining your air filter easy and straightforward, and it restores the filter to like-new performance.The cleaning solution is strong enough to break down dirt, oil, and grime but gentle enough to ensure the filter itself isn’t damaged. After using the cleaner, my filter looked almost as good as the day I bought it. The process is simple: spray on the cleaner, let it sit for a few minutes to break down the dirt, rinse it off, and then apply the oil. The instructions are clear, and the whole process took less than 30 minutes.

I use this as maintenance in my cold air intake filter. This is the red oil and I am happy with thePurchase. I feel I will get at least three maintenance rounds out of this kit, maybe 4.

Get the right stuff for filters
I use this on my air filter on my 1966 CJ5 and it works like a charm just make sure you blow inside out then spay cleaner repeat then Oil

Cleaner and re-oiler worked good, but pump spray on cleaner bottle a cheap leaky part.
I had read several videos and k&n how-to video. All said the pump on cleaner was hard to use, similar to finger pump on hair spray bottle. Pump was usable but hard to use, especially when primed it leaked drops of cleaner out of pump mechanism with every pump. Definitely a cheap, poor design. I changed position so leaking cleaner fell on filter being cleaned instead of running down my hand. Sprayed (and dribbled) filter both sides, let soak 10 minutes, rinsed out with lo pressure hose, let drybhanging up for 2 hours. Aerosol spray oil worked good, lightly coating both sides. Soaked in until dry, wiped down edges. Looked good, will see when put back in.

Glad to know Amazon sells these kits specifi ally for K&N Intake air filter cleaning. When i'm due for a air filter cleaning, I can just do it myself now
