It’s not that long so he’s not combing out lots of knots but it’s well-made and good quality , so would work perfectly for longer beards.He hasn’t really needed to use the scissors again because his beard isn’t long enough, but when it comes to tidying up his moustache, they’re nice and sharp, so do a nice tidy job of tidying up any long, stray hairs and the soft bristle brush is ideal for getting it all too lay beautifully flat and straight after he puts the balm on.Yes, I’m sure if you were a connoisseur or somebody who had a long bushy beard that required more maintenance, there are probably more expensive kits out there that will do a better job, but this was perfect as a gift to give him towards starting to look after his new face furniture, and he was very pleased with that

Bought this set several weeks ago to take away with me for a 4 day break.The brush is excellent, gives good coverage of my beard and helps to get rid of those pesky dead beard hairs. The comb is very handy and is a great size. Very portable and comfortable in the hand.The scissors are small but handy for trimming.The only downside of this set for me is the drawstring bag the items are in. It is a bit flimsy and has been casting black thread.Having said that, the kit as a whole is great. Excellent value for money and a good purchase.
