My Favorite Method Books
I love teaching out of these method books. They are easy to follow for both teacher and student and have many additional books to choose from in the same set. It's easy for students to go at different paces when learning out of these books based on the individual student. I will always use Faber & Faber Piano Adventures.

I review piano method books, good and solid method
As every piano teacher knows, different method books for well for different types of students and their respective learning styles. I like Faber, and it’s a solid method for the average learner. I especially like it for levels 2B+.However, if you have a learner who has difficulty with note reading, the primer and level 1A should be avoided. The hand positions switch throughout the level one book which can easily confuse these students. A slow learner would be better served with a basic middle C or C major position.
