Would helmet be ok to use skiing?

It could be used for skiing from safety perspective though it’s intended for sports in warm seasons. If you do plan to use if for skiing in winter, you’d better wear a balaclava underneath the helmet. If you want to purchase a ski helmet, I’d recommend you search “TurboSke ski helmet” on Amazon, we provide a couple of models of ski helmets.

Is this for adults or kids? I have two sons 14 and 15 but they are the size of men lol.

It’s good for people from teens to adults, however you should measure your sons head circumference to choose the right size, S/M or L/XL. For 14 and 15 year old boys most likely you should choose L/XL size based on my experience.

What should i do with the rest of the foam provided?

The extra foam pads are additional pads for fine tune the size of the helmet, the thickness of those additional pads are different from those pre-installed. In case the helmet is a little loose or tight, you can replace pads with those additional pads provided, you’ll have large chance find that the helmet fits you better.
