Reliable and Affordable Power Solution
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics 48-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries for several months now, and they’ve consistently met my expectations. These batteries are ideal for everyday devices like remote controls, wall clocks, and LED flashlights. They provide steady power and have a commendable shelf life, which is great for stocking up.While they perform admirably in low to moderate-drain devices, I did notice that in high-drain gadgets like digital cameras or handheld gaming consoles, they tend to deplete faster than some premium brands. However, considering the cost savings, it’s a trade-off I’m willing to accept for most applications. The packaging is straightforward and easy to store, keeping the unused batteries organized and accessible. I’ve also appreciated that, so far, none have leaked or caused any issues, which speaks to their quality. In summary, the Amazon Basics 48-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries offer a reliable and cost-effective power source for everyday needs. They’re a staple in my household, and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase them again.

Great set of batteries that we always need to keep on hand at a great price.
Love the batteries they seem to be as high quality as any name brand and I like that I am able to purchase them so inexpensively (at least so far) because even with usb we still need batteries and as soon as I start getting low I buy a full box of AAA and AA's - so we always have enough for all our gadgets that might need to use them. Like the price and performance. They come in a brown small carton so when they arrive I quickly write AAA or AA depending on what I have purchased - so easy without labels covering up your righting. Keep them next to my little tool kit (I don't do major repairs but keep tool kits for these, for plugs as well as all types of screwdrivers and a hammer and balancing set to hang paintings with.

Affordable, Long-Lasting Batteries!
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics 48-pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries for more than two weeks now, and I’m happy with them. They work greatly in all the AA devices around my house. I’ve used them in my game controller, my kids’ toys, TV remotes, and even some kitchen gadgets and they’ve worked perfectly in everything. What I like most is how long these batteries last. My game controller usually needs new batteries often, but with these, I haven’t had to change them yet. That’s impressive. My kids also play with their battery-powered toys a lot, and the toys are still running strong with these batteries in them. It’s a big relief not having to keep changing batteries all the time.Another thing I love is the size of the pack. With 48 batteries, I always have extras ready whenever something runs out of power. It’s convenient, especially in a busy home with kids and lots of gadgets. The batteries feel strong and safe. I haven’t had any issues like leaks or anything like that. They also seem to hold their charge well, even if they’re just sitting in a drawer for a while. That gives me confidence that I can store the extras for future use without any worries.Overall, these batteries are excellent. They’re affordable, long-lasting, safe, and very useful for everyday things at home. I’ll definitely be buying them again and would recommend them to anyone who uses AA batteries regularly.

Amazon's AA batteries offer great value, long shelf life, and solid performance for everyday use.
Amazon Basics 48-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries ReviewAs a frequent user of various devices ranging from remote controls to gaming consoles, I go through a lot of AA batteries. The Amazon Basics 48-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries have been my go-to option for a while now. Here’s an in-depth look at how they perform and whether they live up to the expectations.Performance: ★★★★☆These batteries deliver solid performance for a wide range of devices. I’ve used them in toys, remotes, LED flashlights, and even a few low-drain electronics. In general, they last longer than some of the more expensive brands I’ve used. However, I did notice that their lifespan isn’t as long as premium options in high-drain devices, like digital cameras or gaming controllers. For most everyday needs, they work exceptionally well, but for high-drain devices, you might want to opt for a higher-end battery.Design: ★★★☆☆The batteries come in a simple yet effective design, just like most AA batteries. They have a traditional cylindrical shape and fit snugly into all compatible devices. The packaging is well-organized, with individual batteries safely arranged in plastic trays for easy access. However, there isn’t anything particularly exciting or unique about the design. While they don’t stand out aesthetically, they are functional and serve their purpose.Usability: ★★★★☆These batteries are incredibly easy to use. Simply pop them into your devices, and you're good to go. The clear labeling and consistent sizing mean no issues with compatibility. The long shelf life (up to 10 years) is a huge plus, as I often find myself stocking up on batteries in bulk, knowing these will still be good years down the line. The only downside I’ve experienced is that they aren’t the best choice for high-power gadgets or devices that are used constantly, as they don’t last as long in such devices.Connectivity (or Compatibility): ★★★★★These AA batteries work seamlessly across a wide range of devices. From my TV remote to toys, flashlights, and even clocks, the 48-pack of Amazon Basics batteries has proven versatile. The standard AA size means you can use them in virtually any device that requires this type of power source. This level of compatibility makes them a great backup pack to have around the house for anything that runs on AA batteries.Shelf Life: ★★★★★One of the best features of these batteries is their 10-year shelf life. Knowing that they won’t lose charge while sitting in storage for years is a relief, especially when it comes to keeping extras in a drawer or emergency kit. This is an impressive feature compared to some cheaper options that often drain quickly before being used.Price: ★★★★☆Amazon Basics batteries are priced very reasonably, especially when bought in bulk. The 48-pack provides excellent value for money, and the price is one of the key reasons I keep coming back to this brand. While they aren't the absolute cheapest on the market, the quality and long shelf life more than justify the slightly higher price. In the long run, they’re cost-effective, especially for those who use AA batteries frequently.---Pros:Affordable: Great value for the price, especially in bulk.Long Shelf Life: 10-year shelf life means you don’t have to worry about them going bad while in storage.Good for everyday use: Excellent for remotes, toys, clocks, and low-drain devices.Reliable: Consistently performs well across various devices.Cons:Not ideal for high-drain devices: Might not last as long in power-hungry devices like cameras and game controllers.Simple design: There’s nothing particularly exciting about the design, but this isn’t a major issue.---Conclusion: ★★★★☆Overall, the Amazon Basics 48-Pack AA Alkaline High-Performance Batteries are a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, and long-lasting battery for everyday devices. They excel in value, shelf life, and compatibility, making them an excellent option for stocking up around the house. However, if you’re using batteries for high-drain devices, you might want to consider other, more expensive options. I would definitely recommend these to families, households, or anyone who needs reliable batteries for low-to-medium-drain devices.Rating: ★★★★☆

Long Life
I’m a cantor at our church and I use a Shute SM58 wireless mic. This particular model takes AA batteries and I use these Amazon Basic batteries. They last as long as the two leading brands, one’s name starts with a D and the other starts with an E, but at a much lower cost. I buy my own batteries and consider it a donation to my church, so I definitely want the best value. Some of the churches other vocal wireless mics use 9Volt batteries. The 9V batteries are in the same class as the AA’s. Very satisfied with the life they offer.
