This is GREAT anti-static Mat. The odor will go away quickly and the mat will lay flat after a while. Hey; it's a very thick rubber mat that comes rolled up---- give it time to flatten, etc.

Great Product
I am so impressed with the Uyoyous Large ESD Anti-Static Mat that I recently purchased for my dad! The mat is a great size at 118" x 23", and the high temperature rubber material makes it perfect for circuit, phone, PC, and tablet repair. Harsh Chemical/off-gassing Odor, edges/corners curl up and don't lay flat
Item arrived quicker than initially stated. Other than that, the mat has a very strong chemical odor. I expected this but after leaving it outside over the weekend, opened up, even rained all weekend, washed it down on both sides with Simple Green, let dry again, and it still is filing my warehouse up with the nasty smell. It's Bad Bad. Not kidding. Maybe having had covid and issues with my smell makes me more susceptible to this chemical/off gassing odor, but wow. ALSO, the edges will not lay flat. I figured it was because it was the end of the roll, so I cut it to a fresh flat piece. Hour later, it curled up. But the odor is horrendous.

Chemical Odor, toxic?
Could not be near this mat once it was removed from package. A chemical odor came from the mat and quickly filled the room. I rolled it back up and wrapped it in plastic until it could be returned. Do not recommend this product

Solid product
Used to cover my eletronics work bench. I have already spilled 99% alcohol, flux and dropped hot solder... no problem. Great product, got much faster than it said I would. Great product. Will buy again if/when I need to re cover the bench.
