Great show. My second pair.
Had a pair of the older model. Fit great and lasted for two sold years of ~5 days a week of crossfit. Bought this pair to replace the old ones and this new model fits even better. Love this shoe. Very lightweight. Breathable. Solid footing suitable for crossfit. I wear oly shoes for strength sets, but otherwise these are great for running, jumping, and lifting.

Pretty, solidly made - but for clown feet
I am a spot on, as measured by an Allen Edmonds shoe fitter, US male size 9.5, medium width, no quirks. This shoe would have been my start on "correcting" my running style away from large slope Nike-type shoes - I am getting back pains. I'll have to wait with this since the shoe I received was absurdly long. Sure, I like a bit of air in the toe box, but not a full inch extra. This was with semi heavy socks on.Weird size aside, the shoe is beautifully made, arrived prelaced, and the only shortcoming I could find - other than being made for clowns - is an absence of a pull tab. Really? That's not a lot of weight, and way more convenient than jamming your finger between heal and shoe to get the foot in. Please consider this for future models.Fit is otherwise snug, nicely contoured - haven't run in these, will update this review after getting a smaller pair. Hoping those won't be too narrow. Also plan to use these at the gym, regular "sponge" runners aren't good for lifting. From what I felt trying them out, they seem to be just right for that too. Here's hoping the next pair will fit better!Update: the new pair, size 9 US, fit me - snug around the middle but not too long. Clearly an odd shoe standard the INOV8 folks use, my foot is about a standard shape as they come. Medium width, decent arches, spot in standard 9.5 medium normally. So when you order these shoes (unless you know exactly how they fit) makes sure you order them with free return shipping.Otherwise, feel great, perfect when lifting - my ASICS were way too soft and squirmy, these are great. Haven't done much running yet.

super light shoe with well cushioned with nice road feel.
So first i'm a minimalist shoe guy. For years I wore running shoes with no road feel or heels that would give stripper heels a run for their money(nike air max), and would endure two to three ankle rolls a year while running. I thought this was par for the course for runners. After switching to minimalist shoe i haven't had an ankle injury in three years.onto the shoe. I have been wanting a shoe i could wear normal socks with and had a little more cushioning. tried a few that just didn't feel right. But these are perfect, great road feel yet soft, super light, minimal heel for a more comfortable mid foot strike. If i had a complaint i would say they aren't that comfortable with low rise socks, because of where the top of the shoe meets the achilles it could stand to be a hair higher in the back there.

Great Shoe...Here's Why
I've had these shoes for a couple of weeks now and find them to fit and wear fantastically. I've worn them to work a couple of days, but their primary use is CrossFit. The slight heel rise (3mm) is nice if the true no-rise shoe isn't for you. (Don't listen to the marketing hype...the vast majority of us need that rise.)I wear a U.S. mens 10.5 in most shoes (dress, athletic, casual) and these fit lengthwise just right. Be aware, though, the these are not made for wide feet. Like every other Inov8 I've tied on, they fit my relatively narrow foot snugly from heel to toe box.Unexpected upside: The soles are more robust than my previous pair of Inov8s. (Sole is still soft, but the outermost "tread" layer is tougher and will last longer.)Downside: If there is ANY water or snow on the ground, then your socks won't stay dry.

Outstanding training/racing shoe. Best kept secret in cross training / functional fitness.
I have been a big fan of Inov-8 for years. From my first pair of trailrocs, to my 2 pairs of roclites up and over mountain races and then my x-talons during a mud run every time I feel confident and have blown past people wearing those slippery NB or Nike frees. I decided to ditch my cross trainers and try these for crossfit and my outdoor turf and track workouts. They really feel like I have been missing out on the f-lites, a very popular line by Inov-8 the f-lites are so versatile that when training they actually make you more agile and nimble on your feet, even for just weight lifting. My agility ladder speed has increased and I have even worn them on hardpacked trails when traning with weighted vests and sandbags foregoing my roclites for the first time ever! Sure these are not for wet, super technical or muddy conditions but I would not hesitate to even wear these on the trails or road given the right conditions. As with any Inov-8 shoe, they wear faster than most shoes but the company recognizes this as a trade off for such an exceptional gripping shoe, I understand that and invest in a pair every 1.5-2 years and get a bout 600-700 miles on my roclites and trailrocs. The f-lites since I use them every day in the gym I plan on them last a year or so. All well worth it because Inov-8 always is upgrading their designs and these new ones have the RopeTec technology which last years model didnt. GO FOR IT one of the best kept secrets in the market.

These are super lightweight, about as light as good quality running ...
I've only ever worn these to the gym so far. These are super lightweight, about as light as good quality running shoes are, if you have any experience with those. They are a lot narrower than I expected, so I don't wear these on leg days since there's not as much stability, but comfort-wise the narrowness is no problem since the shoe is pretty flexible. From my experience, these won't be very comfortable on cross country tracks or pebbly/rocky surfaces. There isn't a great amount of padding or sole, so you'll feel every stone you step on. It's just the nature of the beast. Wear shoes made for that kind of surface, not these.I can't say whether or not these are worth the price, as of yet. People who need high performance shoes for more extreme usage such as track and field or cross-fit, that can quantify their experience with these compared to other shoes, may feel it's worth it. For me, those days are over, so no opinion there.Summary: They look nice, feel nice, and are light.

is easily the best training shoe I have ever used
This shoe - which I have had for 2-3 weeks now, is easily the best training shoe I have ever used. I used to wear regular running shoes, so take that for whats it worth. But for the cost versus a regular runner I would recommend these. In fact, I have told a number of ppl in my office, it feels like I am walking/running/biking/lifting on clouds, they are so comfortable.
