Alto Sax Neck Cork, 10 Pcs Universal Sax Neck Joint Cork Sheet for Alto/Soprano/Tenor Saxophone

First time doing this kind of repair on my own to my tenor sax. Did what others said and boiled them first so they were a little more tender. Then following along with youtube videos managed to get it on. Does it look great? Nope. Does it work? Yep! Maybe with some practice it'll look better but it got me back to playing again.

I did not get this for Sax cork replacement but It would work just fine for that as well. Just make sure you use a hammer to make it more flexible or boil it before shaping

These worked great for my alto saxophone neck cork replacement. I tried without boiling first and they were so dry and just cracked right in half but if you boil for 10 minutes and bend and dry, they won't crack and are usable.

Used it on my kids saxophone. Worked well

Took a few tries, but with the right glue and technique it works great

On like my 5th try I actually got the cork on and glued down. Then I started sanding and a long time later I have it sanded down enough to tune the damn thing. The cork is way too thick for my Martin Indiana alto. All 10 pieces are the same thickness and so brittle that they easily cracked while trying to bend around the neck. Next time I'll get a higher quality sheet and cut my own. The only saving grace is that I can tune it to my new Yamaha mouthpiece without using teflon tape.
