My dad recommended this based on how much cheaper it is to run than traditional / non-ceramic heaters or a gas fire. I am pleasantly surprised by how quickly my room heats up with no other support.The fact that it rotates helps a lot.I like that I can set it to a certain temperature and leave it to do its thing, and I'm less worried about it being a hazard because it automatically stops if it's not level with a surface (so it's not going to burn anything if it falls for any reason, which it shouldn't because it has a good base).Its compact size means I can either have it by my feet or on my desk while I'm working.The only thing I would say as a minor negative is it can seem loud in quiet environments, especially if I fall asleep with it on and it clicks back on because it's dropped colder again.

Great space heater. Bought as an emergency heater after gas central heating failed in the winter and it worked brilliantly.Peace of mind guaranteed.

Good but louder than some so harder for bedroom but great any where else

Very useful when we had a toilet leak round the base of the toilet it worked very effectively at drying the surround as it can be lent over against the bowl . Does its normal heating job equally as well

Sent this to my daughter up at uni because her room in her group house is on the ground floor and the radiator wasn’t enough. She reports that this little heater is “a game-changer”

Took heater out of the box and plugged it in. All switches set to "off" switched on the power and the heater started throwing out heater..... in the off position! Turned on fan only ... hot air still. Turned to oscillate ..... nope. Not a chance of any movement on either setting. Turned the switch to off and temperature to right down .... kept on happily chucking out heater. Returned

This heater is what it should be. Well built and blows right amount if air

[EDIT]Updating this review as the heater has broken after less than 6 months use. I now just get a clicking noise and a burning smell...[ORIGINAL]Compact and light weight. Heats up my small study. The aim of a heater is to convert electricity to heat, so there is really no need to spend a lot of money on one as they all do the same thing. You can't get an 'efficient' electric heater, they just use the amount of power specified by their wattage.This one does have a oscillation function that makes it change its orientation like a fan, but it really isn't necessary and it provides the only small annoyance with the unit in that when it stops it doesn't return to its flat position.It has a thermostat which seems to be reasonably good at keeping the room at the temperature I want after adjusting it up and down a few times to find the right setting.The fan is relatively noisy, and cannot be turned off, but it's the type noise that is very easy to tune out.
