It is absolutely gorgeous. Soft. I have another kind that is a little more cuddly but I am glad I got this one for my granddaughter and know she will love it.

I was looking for something special for 4 year old who has particular love for furry stuffed plush toys of hedgehogs, badgers, teddy bears and tada! Now raccoons!!! I am in love with this toy too! The fur is super soft, the colors and appearance are so nice.and it is super good quality. You won’t regret any dollar you spent on this thing… my little one is hanging all day around with the little black-eyed cutie.

So dang soft and so very cute. No need to be a kid to enjoy this either.

I bought for my neighbor's daughter, who's about 6 years old. Recently she and her mother came across a litter of baby raccoons in the road with out their mother. The daughter was so upset that she wouldn't go to bed and made her mother come to our house to get us to help the 'coons (we are known in our community as people who will help animals- domestic and wildlife). My wife and I went down the road to find two babies in the middle of the road. We caught one in the cat carrier, and one ran down the wooded cliff towards the river. After several tries we couldn't get the other one and besides, he was off the road, which was our main concern. I checked out the raccoon we had, and we decided that he was best off with his sibling; that they were both old enough that they were most likely weaned by now (or could make it if they stopped now), so we let the little one we had loose. After several minutes of him playing dead, he scurried after his brother. I wanted to get this for the neighbor's daughter as a "thank you" for caring enough to get us involved. That type of caring and action should be encouraged in young ones. And I hope this experience stays with her and affects the kind of adult she will be- one that is caring and kind. By the way, she LOVED the stuffed baby raccoon as well.

Good size. “Realistic” looking. The quality is above average. However, the product arrived DIRTY. There was some sort of hardened stain on the raccoon’s foot. I could not use this as a gift as intended. The dogs enjoyed it.
