Actually, no, it does not heal cuts or wounds. And DO NOT apply it to open cuts or wounds. The Creme is formulated to minimize bruises, and reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars. If you want to keep a scar from forming after a wound, wait until it heals completely (no broken skin or scabs) and then apply the creme liberally to the affected area 2-3 times daily. This will greatly reduce and possibly eliminate the formation of a scar. For existing scars or stretch marks, apply 2-3 times daily. The process will take time, so you'll need to be patient, but you will see positive results.

I wanted to know the same thing (whether this item will speed bruises to heal or fade away faster) so I called. I got a representative that said to give it six weeks. I thought to myself, "Isn't that how much time it takes for a bruise to heal itself, anyway?" I recently said this to my doctor who was quiet on the subject. Does this answer your question?
