Parent Training for Disruptive Behavior: The RUBI Autism Network, Parent Workbook (Programs That Work)

I’m a BCBA and this was a useful resource to structure my parent training sessions.

We are going through this book with a child psychologist as part of parent coaching to help us support our young child with ASD. Each section has given us effective strategies to make his life and our lives easier and more calm. Highly recommend!

Hopefully, customer service will resolve problems with shipping correct materials, however I feel compelled to share that I have personally begun to use the program with parents and it's been very effective to teach caregivers the tools they need to manage behaviors, and for any doubters of ABA, parents are hooked once beginning this training. I'm very happy to see we have a tool to systematize parent training, which has been hugely lacking in our field-mostly due to limitations from insurance coverage. The product does not deserve a 1 or 3 stars, however customer services may.

I love this curriculum. The videos and activities are a bonus. Plus the fidelity sheets fit perfectly with my graphs.

Examples and the videos are pretty cool!I had to modify a lot.The language is different but same concept.

My son's ABA therapy company uses this, and so helpful to have the parent manual in hand.

I think this program is great and the reason I bought the workbook was to be able to use it as a workbook. The kindle version doesn't work well at all for that. The forms do not print out as a regular size to be able to use. The kindle version of the workbook isn't very usable. I wish I had the print version and didn't waste my money on the kindle version. If I could return the kindle book and get the print version I would do that.

Not thrilled with this purchase. Still waiting for access to the training videos. Will update when videos are released.
