My First Padded Book of Things at Home: Early Learning Padded Board Books for Children

This is my child’s first book and he loves it very much, he is easily getting accustomed to learning through this book. Since the book is about easy to find things, the things around us and that we use in day to day life, it is easy for him to co-relate and learn and it is easy for me to show him the things and make activities out of it which makes his learning session very engaging. It is very rewarding to see him think and grow his mind through this book. He loves his learning session and this book. A very good one for your kid.

This book makes teaching kids the names of things at home easier by reference to colourful pictures. The book itself is a nice padded one with good quality pages. It is meant for pre-school level toddlers and contains attractive pictures that can keep the attention of children. The book is quite nice and small but contains enough words to keep the kid engaged for a long time. It does contain appropriate words for building a child’s initial vocabulary. Since the book itself mentions that it is an early learning padded book, it is meant to help teach kids in their early years.

Things at home is a basic collection of various things we have at home.I started with this book, and my son was able to later recognize various things at home too.I was happy with this development.A must have for brilliant kids to pick up things even faster

ABOUT THE BOOK - Book is a BOARD BOOK N NOT PADDED/FOAM BOOK of 26 pages (left to right). Book is divided into BABY's ROOM, BATHROOM, BEDROOM, LIVING ROOM, STUDY (Which covers stationary related pictures), KITCHEN, STORE ROOM (wonder what a bathroom bucket does in store room) and GARDEN.All the pictures are against white background of the pages, very average presentation/illustrations of pictures on each page. For example - in the book in STUDY PAGE - Sharpener and crayons are almost of the same size wherein in reality it's not - proportion, sizes of objects is lacking. Pictures are highly unorganized on each page. If properly arranged more pictures could have been incorporated.Wardrobe/Cupboard pictures are repeated in Bedroom and Store room page - once by naming wardrobe and second time by naming cupboard wherein both are same.Pictures on the front and back of the book are already in the pages inside of the book so others pictures could have been displayed (Again pictures repeated). In Kitchen page - which has 3 pages dedicated to self but gas stove (which is most important) is missing and so is the fork. Picture quality is also average.Overall it's a good book for the child to see, register the pictures in mind and relate to the objects in real at home. Hope above revisions are made by the publishers - Wonderhouse (though they never disappoint me).SELLER - Sold by "SKYCART" with 10 days REPLACEMENT policy. The cover of the book was dusted and felt used. There was no proper plastic covering on the book unlike otherwise how you get for a brand new book. Had to wash the book cover with wipes before handing over to my child.BOOK AVAILABILITY - Was initially not available but later found so ordered and now it's available through some other seller.PRICE - INR 254/- with discount (MRP 299/-) is slightly expensive. Lesser than that would have been better.DELIVERY - Received on time, hassle free.

Well bound and print quality is good. Kids quite like the book.

Perfect, cardboard pages, so my baby can't tear the pages, my baby was 13 months old when I ordered it, now he is 18 ,he loves the pictures of this book
