Friction pads
Went in no problem. Stopped the noise. Working well. Needs a good Knock to get old ones out. Best watch video on you tube first.Be sure to put something underneath the hitch in case the washers drop out. Shouldnt do but just in case. Dont want to loose them. Internal fitting.

Easy to fit and makes for safer towing, but pricey for what you get.
Absolute doddle to fit, just knock the old ones out with a narrow drift (or screwdriver) when installing the new pad, don’t use the spacer shims provided as this might make it almost impossible to close the hitch on to the tow bar. Slot the new pad back into the side hole and push until it clicks. Try the tow ball in the socket to make sure it closes and locks tight. You shouldn’t be able to move the ball by hand (test with a removable tow ball if you have it) if it does move, remove each pad and fit one shim and replace. Try the tow ball for movement again. The shims are supplied for when the new pads start to wear and you need to space them out for a tight fit to the ball again.
