Great little helper
I love this thing! I have had it for over year I believe and have really gotten good use out of it. When I wash it, I do avoid submerging it in water or even rubbing water over the wooden top I use a damp towel for that part; I think that has helped preserve it.

Beautiful and well made
The wood is very beautiful on this. Another reviewer showed pictures of theirs with the blade not sitting flush inside the wood. Mine is perfectly flush and doesn’t move at all. Haven’t used it yet but it seems like good quality, especially for the price. I wouldn’t recommend putting it in the dishwasher.

Nice!
Easy to hold and it cuts the dough perfectly. I use it for my home made pasta. It is worth every penny. The size and weight are perfect.

Didn't know what a great choice this was until today
Got this months ago... Didn't know how good a choice it was until today... My parents and my wife both got me bench scrapers from other manufacturers for Christmas... Took them out of the packaging today and was so disappointed...The one from my parents is flimsy and was actually bent in half when I opened it... I was able to bend it back to straight-ish, but the very fact that I can do that is a bad thing. The one from my wife seemed like it was going to be a competitor (from king Arthur).. but it has no bevel to it's edge, and it's clearly just stamped metal, and It has very sharp edges... I don't have a fancy area or anything, and just work on my (laminate) counter top... I will have to get my sharpening stones out to take the edge off so I don't have to worry about needing new counters next year...This one will likely remain the only one I reach for... The people who designed it clearly know what they are making, and how it will be used... The attention to the small details during manufacturing make this a great addition to my kitchen... If you're trying to find a bench scraper, STOP HERE.. you found the one you want!

Great accidental dog food dishes!
I bought several of these originally to make and freeze mini quiches. In the end, the pie pans turned into dog food dishes for our two medium-sized dogs. We feed our dogs raw food and mix in some supplement powders that are easy to mix in with the sloped sides of the pie pan. These clean easy and multiples of the pie pans fit well in our dishwasher due to how shallow/slim they are. Despite mixing up the dog food and supplements with a stainless butter knife, the pie pans aren't too marked up. We have 12 total to get us through using 4 dishes per day and waiting for the dishwasher to be full enough to run. As these are pie pans and not really dog dishes, these do slide around a little on the floor when the dogs eat. We, however, do plan to create a feeding station for the dogs, so we'll cut a hole in the planned shelf that will allow us to drop the bowls in and be held in place by the lip of the pie pan; that will eliminate the sliding factor in the future. I would recommend these for feeding raw or wet food up to maybe 8 oz of food. If you are feeding just dry food, probably 1.5 cups would fit. If you have to mix dry food with wet, I think it would work well with dry food that is smaller/more pellet like, as trying to mix bulkier dry food with some wet might overwhelm the shallow pie pan and cause spillage. These would make good cat food dishes too, but actually might be too big.

Very Sturdy
This is a sharper bench scraper than I'm used to. My old one is 15 years old and gets daily use and the wood handle is starting to crack. I thought I should upgrade when I got a new chopping block. To use it to scrape up chopped onions and such, one side works better. The other side digs into the wood a bit too much. Learning curve. I think it'll last me more than 15 years.
