Bought these to fill a need in my kitchen. My sharp tipped scissors didn't come apart and my utility scissors have a blunt tip that got in the way of projects. These scissors filled the bill. A nice sharp tip for slicing plastic veg & meat packaging and handles that separate for thorough cleaning after opening chicken or meats. The scissors are hefty and well made without being bulky. The handles are comfortable and the red coating makes them easy to find in the silverware drawer. A nice addition to my kitchen tool kit.

I love these multi functional scissors. Super sharp

Easy accurate cutting with right hand and left hand. Strong enough to spatchcock a chicken. They come apart for proper cleaning after food prep. They have a helpful gripper to open bottles with arthritic hands. I have these scissors in kitchen, garage, camper. I give them as gifts too.

These are sharp and not bulky like my other shears. Show no signs of rusting like my others that say “dishwasher safe”.Highly recommend.

The description is confusing on the Amazon website… in writing it says “8-inch take-apart kitchen scissors” however one of the photos shows the dimensions as being 11 inches in length (see my screenshot), which it is NOT. Notwithstanding that, my initial assessment of the scissors is overall positive.

I love these scissors. They have a good, solid weight to them and are very sharp. People who complain about them coming apart, well, of course they do if you open them too far. You have to open them to 90 degrees for them to come apart. I'm having trouble coming up with a scenario when I would have to open them that far to use them for cutting. And people who complain about the screwdriver ends that jut out past the handles must be rather clumsy, plus those aren't sharpened and the corners are just a tiny bit rounded so they would be pretty hard to hurt yourself with.I've been wanting heavy-duty kitchen scissors just like these for years now, and I'm glad I ignored the few negative reviews and bought these. I'm very happy with them!

These kitchen scissors are wonderful. They cut thru meat with no problem at all. I love that there are so many things that you can do with these you can actually use it as a can opener, you can crack nuts and you can even use it as a screwdriver. But the best thing of all is they come apart for easy washing. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a great pair of kitchen / utility scissors in their home.
