I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to in this case.I am not a major gym goer, in fact I don't go to the gym at all but workout every morning for 30 minutes. In an attempt to shift some excess weight I have replaced my lunch with a protein shake (Reflex Protein Pro - very good). In the past it was a pain - leaving the office to go into the kitchen to blend and mix it all together. It didn't save me time and was an inconvenience to the point I would often forget to go.However, with this little fella you can fill your protein holder that sits inside the bottle in a morning, drop some milk/water in and leave it in a fridge. Then, when needed, it is a simple matter of dropping in the protein and pressing the mixer button.I had expected the motor to run loud, be underpowered, or always running out of charge. This hasn't been the case. The consistency is absolutely perfect for my needs, it is convenient and feels solid in the hand. The workmanship and careful design is apparent and for the money I am really happy with it.Like any protein mixer, always rinse out straight after use. It stops that weird smell sticking to the plastic and is much easier to clean this way.If this is what you are looking for drop the money on it and buy now you won't be disappointed.

It was expensive, but a worthwhile purchase no doubt, especially as I use it 5 times a week. It wizzes up my protein with no effort and leaves no clumps at all (currently using Impact Whey Isolate). It's a little fiddly to clean including washing up liquid squirting everywhere once it's been shaken up because the seal is so good, but that's just the way it is. The seal on the lid is SO tight/strong which is great - not a drop leaks out if you close it down and give it a good shake/tip. None of the ml markings/branding have come off the bottle which is perfect - I do make an effort though to put it on something padded in my bag.The only 3 things I've noticed really is that it feels like I'm going to crack the plastic when I click the wizzer onto the bottom.The other thing is I LOVED the idea of the pod being able to be kept inside but you can still drink your made up shake. But, as it drops so low into the shaker it's no good if you have quite a lot of water (some official measurements would have been good from Promixx). Also the shake I have at the moment is soo foamy that when I put less water in so I could put the pod in, it still made the foam spill out over the sides which isn't ideal, but that's more to do with the shake i'm using.Lastly, the pod diameter is too small compared to my protein scoop size, which is pretty annoying as it means protein falls around the sides so topping it back up I'm not being accurate with how many g of powder I'm getting. Though again this isn't really promixx's fault.Overall great, would recommend.

Having owned the first promixx, I can say that this product is 100x better. For looks and blending ability alone this product deserves 5 stars. The pod for storing powder is also a great addition and makes this product a must for any gym bag when you don't have time to pop home before going to your next commitment.The reasons that this mixer loses a star for me are as follows:1. Size - it's too small, meaning that powders such as huel that need to be blended with 600ml of liquid cannot be used. The same goes for the powder holder - it will only hold one and a half of a regular 30g scoop. If the capacity of the mixer was 750ml I'd never leave home without it.2. The instructions say that optimal filling is 400-450ml however if you fill any more than 400ml it will overflow and create a mess.3. It's loud - don't expect to use the mixer discreetly in an office or lecture theatre, but if you're in a gym changing room etc then this shouldn't be a problem.All this being said, the mixer looks great, is made from premium feeling materials and does exactly what it says it will which is to blend protein powder with no lumps. It is easy to charge, clean and chuck in your bag and I would recommend it to any busy gym-goer who doesn't always have access to a blender but doesn't want their supplements to be lumpy.

Better than what I’ve decide. Easy to use and to keep clean. No more powder on the worktops and no more lumps that sometimes occurs when just shacking

Not impressed. I have a much cheaper vortex electric shaker that is much better in every way.Let’s start at the top and work down. The lid - stopper/cap not secure can open in a bag. The whole lid unit takes a few degrees to clip closed, again easily coming open in a bag. Cheaper models both stopper and complete lid screw on and lock after numerous turns giving much more leakproof assurance.The bottle which is 500ml plus, however if it is filled with water or milk any more than 350ml the moment you add protein powder the bottle over flows spewing sticky residue all over the bottle outside and what ever surface you have it on. Cheaper bottle no spillage even when filled beyond 400mlThe base - it is removable to protect the built in battery during cleaning, however it still has a built in base meaning you cannot flow water through the length of the bottle:shaker for cleaning, thus drying is also a drama. Cheaper bottle - whole base comes off allowing free flow of cleaning water and ease for thorough drying.Far too expensive for too many basic and obvious flaws should have bought the same as my previous vortex cheaper and much better model.I dislike this bottle so much it will be put in a cupboard as an emergency spare
