GROHE 28421002 Tempesta Classic 100 4 Spray Hand Shower, Starlight Chrome

My biggest challenge has been to find a shower head that would still keep the water flow rate reducer built in but still have enough spraying pressure power to massage my scalp! At least on the high spraying setting! The ones that I have tried from the likes of HD were such where I had to remove the water flow rate in order to get the desired pressure. Water is expensive.Not this marvel of German engineering. When I got it, I immediately looked for the water rate reducer (usually seated inside the shower head's handle) and could not see it. But before I returned it, I give it a whirl and it performed like a champ! It blew me away!I think I'm gonna buy a second one to make sure I'm set for the next 20 years. My scalp will thank me for it!Other than my little requirement which this model performed it in spades, the built of this thing is what you'd expect from a Made in Germany quality product. Fits well in hands. The spraying settings are all wonderful and sufficient for a nice and effecting showering/cleaning. Very easy to change from one setting to the next and back.Very happy with it! Well done! Grohe is a great company!

Really like the spray options on this shower head. No sign of the sprays clogging yet after a year or so of use. Lightweight yet feels well made -- a good buy.

This hand shower completely met my expectations. All 4 sprays are useful for me.It's lightweight and comfortable to hold it.The pressure is very high, I've read some comments about the low pressure and it's very strange for me.

I have had this for almost a year and I’m just leaving the review now. It is very good quality, but not the strongest pressure you would expect but still I love it.

Easy and quick to install.The 4 settings on this unit are actually the best, most used of the 6-setting shower head I replaced.The full-head spray is what we use for every day showering. There is also a full-head gentler spray (rainfall) setting, but I haven't used it. The pulsating spray (inner sprayers) is good for massaging sore shoulders, but the setting that uses the inner sprayers in a straight spray is even better, and is perfect for ensuring that all the shampoo is removed quickly.I'm very happy with this purchase!

I waited a year and a half to give this review. Just for the fact that almost any shower head can get a good review when its new but how does it hold up after a long time of use? This was my first time I have purchased a Grohe shower head and I am happy to say this is by far the best shower head I have owned. Most shower heads clog after long term use from mineral deposits. Also the finish becomes faded or just seems to attract lime filth. Not this shower head! Absolutely no clogging and the finish is as good as the day I installed it. The rubbery little jet tips allow for easy cleaning, just rub your finger over it on a monthly basis and bingo the jets are perfectly clean. Love it!!

Hose and shower head are extremely lightweight. I don't expect it to last more than a few years at best. Head does not fit original Grohe holder. need to wrap head in tape to make it stay tight in the holder. Of the 4 options of spray, two appear to be very nearly identical, both are pretty weak. Takes much longer to remove shampoo and conditioner when washing hair. Massage option is pretty timid and we have 70-80 PSI water pressure.
