easy to mount & stores a laptop for when I need it.
I'm using this to hold an old laptop I use as a terminal (web interface / VNC / RDP) for things in my homelab rack. It works great for this purpose. I use the side slide out shelf for a trackball I use. I'd say it's probably to small to use for a mouse comfortably, but for the trackball it's a great fit.

No cable ports?
As far as I can tell, is no access for cables to pass through the enclosure once the drawer is closed. Forces me to possible cut some holes in the enclosure to allow for cables, but then there will be sharp edges rubbing every time the drawer moves. Other than that, extremely sturdy drawer.

This worked great and was easy to install
We have the StarTech 45U High Capacity server rack and i was looking for a sliding tray for it for a keyboard and mouse. A sliding LCD with built in keyboard and mouse would have been ideal, but a bit pricey so i bought a startech LCD mount and this instead. Surprisingly, startech does not make a sliding tray for this rack. This worked great and was easy to install. It wont fit a full sized keyboard so i went an Aukey 87 key mechanical keyboard and that fit perfectly in this drawer. Overall i am satisfied with this purchase and would buy this again.
