Good value, good price, they work.
Installed these on three 55/60 gallon plastic barrels. Used RTV Sealer on one of them and it did not leak; had a perfect seal. The ones without sealer leaked. I didn't want to tighten too much so as to avoid breaking them. Still leaked after giving them an extra 1/2 to a full turn. Don't know the torque specs, but I'm pretty sure they were tight.Actually tightened one of them until the rubber gasket was forced from under the locknut, had to back it off. That didn't break the bulkhead, but it still leaked. Perfect size to fit PVC piping. Using a sealer with these gets you the best results.

Returned but nice
Broke the tank i was drilling. Aqueon 14gallon frameless cube. It is not tempered on the side panels, but i tapped it on my drill press on the way out and busted the corner of the tank. Can't find a replacement so must return the bulkheads and strainer. The bulkheads and strainer were of good quality and dimensionally correct. 1/2" slip accepts male 1/2" pvc fittings as well as straight 1/2" pvc tube. I used a 30mm diamond hole saw if I remember correctly, will update if wrong.

Good bulkheads!
Worked great in my salt water mixing tub. There is a small casting bump on the inside of the flange that I sanded down, because I was afraid it might leak. Took 2 minutes and everything went in well. I’m happy with these bulkheads.

Excellent quality, can't beat the price.
These bulkheads worked perfectly on the hydroponic tubs I purchased. I made coral growing frag tanks from them and all the bulkheads I purchased (6 in all) were excellent. Not a single one had any cross thread issues or leaked at all. The biggest mistake people seem to make with these and other bulkheads is to only hand tighten them securely. If you pull out the wrench to tighten you will either break it or create an improper seal. After securing make sure to leak test and if there are any leaks at all re-do the seal by loosening and re-tightening. Would buy again.

Great price and product
Work exceptional on 5 gallon buckets. No leaks. Gasket MUST NOT BE by nut , but by other end. Great price. Thats why I purchased

They work well, just don't over tighten the nut!
They do the job, just don't over tighten the nut! I use them for hooking up a sump for my aquarium. When you are tightening the nut be careful not to put too much tension on it, or the plastic nut will split!

In what world is this 1-1/4” hole?
Not even close to 1-1/4” hole. More like 1-1/8” like another commenter said. Leaking everywhere. Ruined project. Thanks a lot.
