Works great. Rugged metal case.
Just what I wanted. Allows you to pick which device is connected to Ethernet. Rugged metal case, of a light, almost military olive color. It's not pretty but it's tough and not just another plastic thingy. To be sure it was secure (it's made in China) I opened the case to inspect. Solder connections and wires were good quality and no security concerns. I use this as an internet shut off switch so I'm not constantly unplugging the Ethernet connector. There are times when I use my computer and want it completely disconnected and this is very convenient for that purpose.

Simple and Effective
I needed a kill switch to repeatedly disconnect a laptop from my network. This device works perfectly. It is very sturdy and well made. There are pads on the bottom of the device for better traction and the switch is exactly what I wanted (You can add more descriptive labels for A/B. I opted for attaching adhesive labels instead of writing with a sharpie directly on the surface.) Old school retro feel from the 80s. Again it works well and there is no effect on data transfer speed when introducing this device on an ethernet line.

Use as a mic selector for radio
I’m using this on my Yaesu FT-710 as a selector between my desk mic and my hand mic. Works GREAT with no issues whatsoever!!!!

Works for me
I have two separate internet companies because the one company is not reliable. With this box I can have both connected to my desktop and switch back and forth no problem.

sofar, so good
Previous A-B switch, a push-button type, failed after 70 cycles. This is a rotary design so it is much simpler. I am counting.

DESKTOP SWITCHING
I used this to switch Internet service to a remote desktop computer. Worked perfectly, no setup problem. Color is ugly but it works. Good item for the money.
