This item performed flawlessly and was just what I needed to remove corrosion and old finish from the metal parts that needed refinishing.

6 month review
Heavy volume powder coater here. This gun last about 6 months till the inner nozzle wears from the media. For the price I bought 3 more and I’m okay replacing it every 6 months.

HF gun replacment
Works like it should. I am still using the steel tip that was installed when it arrived. I have about 20hrs of use with no issues.

great gun for the money.
I bought the Harbor Freight 59483 50lb portable sandblaster. The gun started to give me some trouble and eventually stopped working properly. No parts are available for that gun accept the nozzles. So I read some reviews on this gun and I found one were another person was in my same situation and they bought this gun and was happy with it. I just want to say that I wish I had bought this gun from the beginning. This gun was much easier to use and gave a more reliable flow. Suggestion if you are using the 59483 blaster, I used some scrap wood and built a shelf that fit over my compressor to hold the bucket of media and when the compressor kicks on, it acts like an agitator for the media to keep it from cavitating. Worked great, otherwise you have to keep kicking the bucket or shaking it to keep it feeding media. just an idea in case someone else would like to use that idea.

Know this gun is disposable.
The gun itself will wear out faster than one tip. For the money, buy two or find a better unit. I'm using medium Shark Bite in the blaster and this abrasive just eats the brass insert in the tool. I run the blast unit for several hours a week. I spent an hour trying to figure out why I had all the air, but no media coming from the gun, with no fees hose blockage. I'll keep buying these and trashing them until I find something better.
