Very good product

Looks pretty good and good value for money.Got it on a sale for Rs.691.The size is a little too big to fit under the seats of most Indian scooters (mine is a TVS Jupiter)The helmet came with a qr code to be scanned for a chance to win prizes.The official steelbird app has to be installed in order to enter this contest.The build is fairly durable and the visor is easy to clean and fairly scratch resistant.Might be a bit of a challenge to use this helmet if you are one of the people who use headphones while driving but tha that's just a personal opinion.The air vents provided near the chin ensure that you don't get stuffy and sweaty while riding , and they also seem to filter out pollution and smoke a little bit , making it a little easier to breathe in traffic.

Full face cover ......safe ...go for it

The shell is good. Hard enough. Visior is good too. But I found it was not very comfortable wearing it. (This may be different in your case)However the main problem is the inside cushion (above your head) is very thin and not soft at all. The hard shell could be felt easily if you slightly press the helmet from outside. I could feel that hardness right on the central part of my head. Would suggest to go for another better helmet with softer and comfortable cushion.Also the logo of STEELBIRD at the back is just a simple sticker, which raises a question if this is even a Original Genuine Product or not!?

This Steel bird helmet is lightweight, comfortable, and quiet safe during travels. It has good ventilation for air flow. The shell has a Matt finish making it scratch resistant. The visor remains firm at any position if you prefer to travel with open helmet. There is no protection to chin area and if head is tilt above you may notice an air noise. Ignoring this minor problems the helmet is safe and worth it at given price range.Edit: Don’t go for open face helmets as it does not protect your lower parts of the face. Buy a full face helmet like this one.

I really like the value for money proposition that this product has. I’m surprised that a renowned brand like Steelbird has introduced such a wonderful product at such affordable rate. I’ve always worn full face helmets from brands like KBC, LS2 & AXXIS solely for the protection they offer but after I added a scooter to my stable, I had been looking for a helmet that would fit the boot.I was very reluctant to get a half face helmet as it didn’t inspire any confidence and provided zero protection in case of a face down accident. I’m glad to have found this helmet as it fits the boot and provides some protection in case of a frontal crash, although not as much as my other full face helmets, but it’s still better than having not protection at all.

Visor is good but it's definitely not scratch resistant.Cons:1. The cushion foam is only upto the ears, above that it's just a very low quality sponge which will wear off sooner.2. The top of the head will definitely feel the hard press of the underlying thermocol as the cusion is very thin there.3. Only one size i.e. Size L or 600mm/60 cm it did fit well for an M size head, yet it was a bit tight on the sides.4. Not recommended for long distance drives.5. Awful smell of chemicals used in the making, which will wear off.6. The look from the front gives a feel like it protects the chin, unfortunately it doesn't completely. The long chin you see is just an extension, not completely covered.7. Don't know if it fits inside every scooters' boot. Not fitting in Dio. Check the questions part for this.8. Vents are just average.9. Priced very high, considering its build and performance.This is not the great helmet but it's just an OK helmet, bought it for rs. 857/-. Which I feel is too much for this based on my experience. This fits Large and Medium heads easily, but not very comfortable though. The size mentioned is L. The tight fitting may start giving a headache if worn for a long time, atleast for me. Not sure about the air circulation and vents, it feels average. Overall it's an average product, with a decent build. Hope this helps and answers some of the concerns.
