Purslane Portulaca
These never bloomed as they should have. I got one bloom out of the whole pack of seeds. Won't purchase from this seller again. Got lots of greenery one bloom.

Seeds did not germinate
These are my late mothers favorite flower, so it’s especially disappointing when after 2 months, the seeds have still not germinated. Plus, there was only a very tiny amount of seeds. Will not order from here again.

Great germination on these seeds, and the flowers are gorgeous
This is my second year buying these purslane seeds. I start them early, around January, on a heat mat, then move them to my lighted plant stand. They start flowering around May and then I harden them off outside. The flowers are gorgeous! If you are impatient, starting these seeds isn't for you. But if you want a lot of pretty purslane plants, which I do, they are worth the wait.

Growing Slowly
Good germination rate but plants are growing much slower than expected. Watering everyday (lightly) to offset hot Alabama sun. Bought many purslane plants over past several years and they always grew quickly? 🤔

I haven't planted yet.
I was thinking about waiting until next summer, but decided to try to plant a few indoors to see how they come out.

Red purslane?
I didn't know purslane came in red. I bought it for the color. In Mexico it's called verdolaga and is a favorite in many dishes. Our Mexican family loves it. It's high in Omega 3 and lots of other nutrients. I can't wait to see the seeds grow up enough to harvest.
