We are using this product as an alternative to 'the manure heap' that we had on a previous allotment plot. We can spread it where ever we want, we can work it into the soil, we can use it progressively over the growing season. It is much more convenient and effective than storing, maintaining, barrowing, spreading and working in farmyard manure (unless you really want the exercise, flies and standing in poo).

The plants love this. It takes a while (A few weeks or moderate watering) to completely break down into the soil if scattered (some previous brands break up quicker) but it’s left me with some huge plants with abundant flowers. More so than previous years, and I’m sure this isn’t just down to the weather and cleaner air due to lockdown traffic reducing (although we don’t live in a highly polluted area anyway).Love that one of the ratings here is “Scent”. Gets a full five because it really smells like chicken s*** fertiliser! 😂

Sent by third party, excellent price for size and arrived quickly with updates. I swear by these on my allotment for getting topproduce and flowers also. Just scatter handful over and fork in.

Good product . Easy to apply .

I have used the product to improve soil content for shrubs, bushes, hedges and some winter flowering plants - including Cyclamen. It is too soon to assess its value which should become apparent ver the coming months. I am confident it will do a good job but cannot confirm yet.But the price is excellent.
