Perfect replacement for my home floor speakers.
I purchased a set of these to refurbish my grandfather's old MCS (Technics/Panasonic) speakers, which the foam had deteriorated around the edges. At first, I had planned on re-foaming the set, however these replacements were cheaper than a re-foam kit, so I figured why not? I got the set in short order, they fit perfectly in the old speaker box. I fired up the old beast, and these things sound great. Easily just as good as the old woofers, if not better. My only complaint is that it was a bit hard to find the markings for positive/negative, they're very small, and (unlike most speakers) it's not obvious. Most speakers either have one terminal smaller than the other, or one terminal colored red to easily differentiate which side is positive and which is negative, these have very small markings in the black plastic near the terminals that I didn't find easily, but did end up finding. That's not a huge deal, so I'm very happy with the product, and very happy that I can once again listen to my 33s!I should add that the description of this product is a little misleading, these are not "sub-woofers" as described, they are standard woofers intended for use as a replacement for standard un-powered speaker boxes used in home stereo sets (see my picture uploaded above).

Good Value for the Money
At $15.35 each, these speakers are an excellent buy for the money. Be advised that these are not high end speakers nor are they subwoofers as mentioned in the name description. They are woofers, designed to replace blown speakers in low end speaker systems. The sound quality is excellent for the price. I used them to replace blown Pyle Driver woofers in an ancient Pioneer speaker system in my workshop. The mounting holes were a little closer than the original speakers, but there are plenty of mounting holes in the Pyramid speakers to relocate the holes in the speaker box. They seem to be able to produce a good chest vibrating bass with clear mid and high range tones. Given their location and their intended use, they worked out perfectly for me.Also be aware that the one year warranty is a complete joke. In the event of a failure, they expect you to send them the speaker postpaid along with $15 to cover return shipping. I'm estimating about $8.50 to ship the speaker so if you returned it under warranty, you would be out $23.50 to replace a speaker that cost $15.35.

Excellent Fender Clean Tones in 2x10 Cabs!!!
Shocked!! I bought these thinking anything this cheap would be bad but they are outstanding! I installed four of them in two 2x12 open back speaker cabs to help get a large stereo Fender Princeton tone from my Fender Mustang Floor modeling amp simulator. I wanted that authentic Tele county tone that I was not getting with my 2x12 V30's with the Fender Mustang Floor amp sim. Boom! Dead on with the 2x10 cabs and these speakers. It was just a cheap experiment to see if the concept would work and now I am done. Set the sim on Princeton with no cab in the setting add reverb and the county and blues pour out! I was thinking i would still need to buy high end guitar speakers but these work just fine. They do not work well with anything but Fender Clean tones though with a single coil guitar. They mud out when heavily distorted.

The ad is misleading
The ad looks like you're getting two but you're only getting one and the magnets are real weak and it's really hard to find the + and - on the speaker terminals I would not recommend these speakers

Works and sounds decent
I bought this to replace a blown speaker in my home stereo system sub.It fit fine and works. It has some distortion and some off tunes but it's decent enough to work until I want to spring out more money for a higher quality speaker.Works fine, sounds good, inexpensive. I've only had it about a year and it still works fine.

My customer was overjoyed with the final sound quality of his restored antique ...
I needed an inexpensive 10" speaker to replace one in an antique radio that I was refurbishing for a customer. I needed it to have a light enough cone to produce a fairly full sound spectrum as there was no place to mount smaller speakers for higher frequency response. I also needed a speaker that was efficient enough to make use of tube type transformer output of maximum 12 watts RMS. After making circuit modifications to replace the original field coil speaker with this modern permanent magnet type, I was very pleasantly surprised by the performance of this speaker in meeting all of my needs. My customer was overjoyed with the final sound quality of his restored antique radio using this speaker.

Inexpensive, for a reason.
you get what you pay for. I put these in a set of stage monitors used for a rock band. Very little depth to the sound. I should have spent a little more. The 2" horns that were in the monitors overpowered these woofers, and as a result I ended up putting in 1" horns and now have weak monitors. I would recommend using these for a non-professional application such as home audio.Seller was great. Good shipping and packaging. Product was as described.

good value
this is not a sub woofer as other has indicated; however, it has performance well under my oldJVC zero 4 speakers. It did has a small magnet as other says compared to my old JVC zero 4, it is almost half the size and weight on it.I have spent almost the same amount of money trying to re-foam $25.00 and I did buy the re-foam kits butit did not work well.I should just buy these speakers for $33.00 in the first place instead. My old JVC is back to normal now.
