Great Sling
My client just had shoulder replacement surgery. Was only given a cheaply made sling after surgery. I knew about this style and bought it for him. He said it was like going from a Volkswagen to a Cadillac. Better made, superior support and comfortable material. His arm doesn't slide out thanks to the ball attached inside the sling. Highly recommend this product. Five stars!!

VERY comfortable!
Fyi: I'm 5'2" & 114 lbs.I am having shoulder surgery in 3 weeks and asked at the pre-op appt if I could have my my post-op sling early, so I can get it all figured out (I don't want to learn when I am in post-op pain!).They said, "Nope, not until you've actually had the surgery," and that I will wake up already wearing a sling.Heck that!Based on reviews, I ordered this and, have to say, I am impressed! It is easy to figure out the various straps. I especially like getting the velcro just right for fit & positioning. Once you have that done, you only need to open & close the buckles. The pillow is not too big for a person of my size. My forearm is completely hidden inside the sling. The padded sleeve on the shoulder strap is nice. I am going to use a shearling seatbelt cover around it instead (previous experience). The material is very soft. It IS warm, which might be a bit uncomfortable for my July-August recovery! Oh, well, first world problems...The ball is removable (it is wrapped in velcro and attaches inside the sling, no losing it!). I find it easy to squeeze.I plan on adding a decorative cover on the front side of the sling (Snoopy fabric, because, Snoopy makes everything better!).I plan on taking this to the hospital on the day of my surgery.

Well worth it
This is used for a post rotator repair surgery. It works great. Just as well as the one from the orthopedic office, but costs alot less. Well worth it. No missing pieces or parts. Easy to use, thickness is good and comfort is nice. Sling is a little on the larger side, but not so much that it is awkward. I would recommend.

Very big and uncomfortable for me
I bought this to replace my old worn out sling thinking that the pillow would help my frozen shoulder with movement, but it was way too big and uncomfortable. The Velcro sticks to everything, it gets stuck in my hair, it’s extremely hard to undo the Velcro, it scratches my skin and if you have lymphedema on top of it, I wouldn’t recommend it.I had to return it.

Nice extra sling
I had rotator cuff surgery two weeks ago and received a Breg sling from my doctor. But after two weeks I needed to wash it and so I ordered this one to wear while my other one is being washed and dried. It is comfortable and fits my long arms well. The straps are easy to use and the Velcro is easily adjustable. The strap that goes over my other shoulder cuts into my neck just like my Breg sling does. But the only kind I can find that doesn’t do that costs over $100. And the little ball is so hard I can’t squeeze it. Maybe I need to increase my strength!

Child size, not for full grown adults.
Made for a tiny child's arm. I am 6'2 and the ball holder that's sewn in lands dead center in between my wrist bones. Incredibly tight and uncomfortable.Unable to wear for a full day. Returned immediately.

I tried 3 slings so far and this is the one!
I just had rotator cuff and bicep repair surgery. I originally got this as a temporary sling for when my main sling is in the wash. I was looking specifically for one that had snap/buckle closures like my hospital sling, because it's so easy to put on/off. I also tried a different sling, but that wasn't so great. I ended up loving this one so much I now use it as my main sling!!! It is SO soft inside -- unlike the scratchy one the hospital gave me that had seams and stitching inside w/ a rough fabric that ended up chafing and peeling the skin on my arm! This sling is so comfortable. Although the shoulder pad could be a bit more narrow, as that sometimes digs into my neck. I ended up replacing that with the pad from another sling and now it's perfect. The straps are very easy to adjust, and I even cut some of the velcro pieces and rounded the pointy ends so they'd be shorter and less "noisy". My arm is 12" and this sling was a bit too long, but I was able to fold the wrist end back about an inch or two and hold it there with the two velcro pieces at the end. After the first week my surgeon took my pillow off and said I no longer needed it, so I am not using that part of it. Once you get this whole thing adjusted just right for you, you will love it! The only thing I wish was designed differently would be the strap at the wrist where it buckles. The velcro pieces are sewn on. If they were removeable I would be able to fold the "cuff" back further since it was too long for my arm. So I take off a star just for that reason. Otherwise I love it!

Worked great for my torn rotator cuff
This was an absolute lifesaver when I tore my rotator cuff hope to alleviate some of the pain by pulling the arm slightly away from the body
