Kuhne Pickled Gherkins, 2.45 kg (Pack of 4)

These arrived in a huge box which made me wonder what had been ordered and they took up only one corner which left lots of packaging! The gherkins are excellent, spicy and crunchy, not at all bitter as some I have had from other producers.Space and storage is a concern as its rare to have a kitchen where the better part of 10kg of gherkins is easy to store! I decant into a smaller storage container and put this in the fridge which keeps it nice and cool and very fresh, the other jars go out into the shed.These have a great taste to me, not too sweet and not too sour/bitter. They go great with salads, sandwiches and most light lunches and are great to cut up and add into lasagne; spag bol etc.Great product at a great price provided you have storage for the jars so recommend these wholly!

I admit that I was skeptical at first and did take a couple of weeks swithering back and forth on whether I would buy these or not. The deciding factor was simply that I love pickles and live in a rural location where our local supermarkets are smaller than usual and don't stock anything other than small jars of pre sliced pickles. I thought to myself this was a lot to spend on pickles in one go, but in the end decided it was worth it as my choice was between this or none. I am SO GLAD I decided to buy them! They are tasty and crunchy, great to chop in salad or noodles, slice in sandwiches or just eat whole.The only drawback was the first jar I tried to open and failed miserably (what can I say? Am not particularly strong LOL), was just about to pierce the lid when I remembered a review that said slide a butter knife between the jar and lid then rotatate the knife until seal breaks - fantastic tip and a second later I was crunching away on juicy pickles!

Ordered these for my German pickle loving family and… YUCK! Overly salty and savoury (like those foul American pouched pickles) soft and soggy not sweet and sour as promised! I’m not sure if we received a duff lot but pickles should not be wrinkly 😫Will continue to get Krakus pickles… it’s a shame, we get through a jar a day of the smaller jars!

I’m so happy I’m able to buy these Gherkins here online! Normally it takes me a good hour drive to my nearest Bookers cash-and-carry to get my gherkin fix. So much better quality and taste than the supermarket ones. Thank you Amazon

Very happy with The purchase. The item Was sent to me in "Italy" very quickly and in perfect condition. product is very good and crunchy. Had to put all The jerkings in a plastic box in order to put it in The fridge since The glass container is too big for My fridge and You can't put it in orizzontale position ( water would come out of it ) The only thing I'm not happy about is The expedition fee. It cost me as Much as The product. Hope The will manage to make it cheaper in The future.

love these - have them everyday with my lunch at work.Top quality - much better than any UK made/sold ones .super crispy and tangy .Cheap as well - if you can eat this many ......
