Looks and works perfectly
So far it's working very well and the pump is strong. This is the second wooden log theme fountain I've purchased from this company and I'm completely satisfied.

Sounds of a Creek and wayerfall
The media could not be loaded. Outstanding fountain. Sounds like a running Creek in my back patio. Great waterfalls. Looking forward to seeing it lit up at night. Have the light system on a timer.

My Second Alpine - Fantastic!
The media could not be loaded. This is my second Alpine fountain. I've had the other one for about 10 years with no issues. You have to keep the pump clean and I did move it to the shed for our brutal winters. This fountain is very realistic looking and the attention to detail is amazing. It's not too loud, but you can make it louder by putting a little rock at the top to break up the waterfall you just have to make sure it's not causing it to splash outside of the fountain. I've never had a loud pump and I suggest not using the suction cups to suction it to the bottom of the inside. That causes noise just put it in and don't push down on the suction cups. Problem solved.Alpine is getting a little pricey, but you can't beat their quality. I love it. My video is with the pump on maximum. There was no reason to turn it down. No splashing no leaking.I hope the video helps someone. I made it longer because when I was looking the four second videos were frustrating to me. Enjoy!

Beautiful, but only buy New.
The media could not be loaded. I purchased a “Like New” refurbished Amazon product because the price difference made it a little more doable to justify purchasing. Upon receiving though, it was evident that the fountain had been used a decent bit - there was some buildup on the hoses, etc. As well as a strong smell. There were a few chips and pieces that were broken that had settled to the bottom of the box. I thought it was just cosmetic and proceeded with setup - only to find that apparently those chips came off a very important part of the front bottom, leading to the water just pouring straight out the bottom “foot” of the stump. I am currently waiting for UPS to pick up the damaged item, but now I’m not sure if I want to risk buying one at full price in case the damage occurred during shipment. I definitely will not be trying another Used one, for sure. I have another Alpine fountain that has lasted well over the years and was well worth its price… not sure about this one.

Great Fountain
I'm curious if they've updated their packaging since some other reviewers got their fountains, because mine came in a solid 2-piece molded styrofoam container with a special slot for the back cover and box for the motor. It's large and I think the UPS guys struggled to deliver it without a dolly so it took a couple of trips for them to do it - but it's large because it's properly padded & solidly built. The instructions were a little grammatically off but incredibly simple regardless. It took me all of 5 minutes to "assemble" (you screw on the motor to a tube, fill it, plug it in - it's not rocket surgery). The pump motor had a ground plug but note the LED lights do not - it recommends you only use it with a GFCI outlet (your outdoor outlet probably is, a random house plug wouldn't be). Overall it feels more like an outdoor product design, light splashing does occur, I'd certainly never recommend you put this on hardwood. It makes a nice waterfall sound - audible but not too loud. I sit right next to it on a patio and you could easily hold a conversation over it - but it's also not silent or gentle up close. I noticed that it did need to be properly leveled, if it tips to one side or forward too much the water doesn't cling to the sides in a wide stream but plunk unceremoniously into the pool. It also takes 5 minutes or so to warm up before it streams evenly. It did have some paint smell initially but that faded quickly outside. I think it looks reasonably realistic, even up close, lots of nice small details in the mold. It's decently thick too, would hold up to hail I bet. The black sponges that diffuse the water at the top and mid-tier look precariously glued, it might not last but some additional epoxy would solve that if needed.Overall very happy with it.

Great lightweight and durable quality
A replacement purchase for the same model I got nearly 15 years ago. Incredibly durable, lightweight, and great quality. About 40 lbs, so easy to carry and place. Back panel opens for easy pump replacement if needed. I replaced the pump only once in 15 years. Can slightly splash a little, but you can adjust flow rate on the pump to minimize this. LED lighting is bright. Enjoy the lights while you can. Those do not seem to last nearly as long, at least on my old unit. Recommend any fountain from this manufacturer.

Pump is amazing BUT PAINT PEELING OFF NO I lightly spray down when refilling to clean it
Edited on 7/26/24 and increased rating to 4 stars because 4 years after purchase it is STILL going strong and the issue with the paint is not visible unless you are looking for it…I would have given this a 5 star review in the first 6-12 months BUT after a year and a half I noticed foam pieces have separated and torn as well as the paint/coating peeling off which detracts from the natural looking beauty of the fountain. I don’t want to paint to cover those spots because I know birds and my dog etc. drink from it.No chemicals have ever been used to clean it and I simply spray the fountain when I am refilling it. In the picture you can see the areas missing paint that it couldn’t have been damaged by animals so I don’t understand why it is peeling. The fountain is in a shaded area.On a BIG positive note I have accidentally let it run dry a few times but the pump and lights are still working! Obviously not recommended to let it run dry but I am super impressed with the pump and lights performance (2 years now)!

Worked for 2 summers
Worked great for one summer. 2nd summer top filter came out and glued it back in place. Started to leak at base by end of summer. Overall tried to fix leak but found more than one. Also found others holes on the inside
