Jazzmaster with humbuckers
Not going to use my jazzmaster to master jazz - too fiddly, so instead: with the coil splitter engaged it makes a lovely warm clean sound. Then I switched to the double coil setting and put it thru a big muff. Wow, what a beast- the sound was so dirty that I was tempted to fumigate the room afterwards. What I’m trying to say is that you can do pretty much anything with this!

Great Guitar with one fault
Overall a very good guitar but mine had a fault that I felt was poor in a guitar like this.Basically the stings were not centralized over the pups or fret-board. The top E was right on the edge of the neck and just kept sliding off. Loads of people on line said just loosen the neck screws and push the neck into alignment but mine would not move. I had bought it at a good price so I did not want to return it so I took the neck off and removed a slither of wood from one side and then I could set it correctly.Basic lack of proper quality control, I should not have to do this with quality guitar brand.
