Cambridge Audio C155 - Pair of In-Ceiling Speakers for Music or Home Cinema Systems with Paintable Trim

I wanted a small discrete in-ceiling speaker which occupied the same diameter as the spotlights in my bathroom and en-suite. This is great, its a similar relative size, gives a good sound (no powerful bass, but excellent for listening in the shower) and was easy to hook up to a Sonos Connect:AMP.I went ahead and only bought one for each room (with Mono audio) as I wasn't too concerned about stereo separation.

Well packaged, easy to install with provided template, connection was a doddle. I added these to my existing 5.1 surround sound setup in my home cinema, to make use of the new Dolby Atmos sound experience. They create a decent overhead sound, in conjunction with the rest of the setup. That said, I can tell that these are more than capable if used on their own (stereo). Highly recommended.

I have installed these in the ceiling and connected to our Samsung TV via a amp. The speakers are small and the sound disappointing with no bass. Don’t buy these on their own you will need a sub or other more capable speakers to deliver the bass frequency.

Great sound on this and stereo, fitted in the bathroom and hooked it up to a small amp with Alexa plugged in. All in the roof space, I turned Alexa upside down so the mic is on the ceiling.All works as expected, result!

Purchased for in celing atmos to work in my room and they do work perfectly sound is nice only complaint is it was listed as a pair on Amazon and richer sounds for £99 after ordering it changed to one speaker for £99 and I only received one speaker so had to order a 2nd unit so had to spend £198 I think £99 for one speaker is over priced because of other speakers you can buy for this price

Unobtrusive, well made and decent sound to compliment my existing Minxx 5.1 to create the perfect 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos set up in the garden room. 10/10

Quality of sound is excellent, but this is second pair disappointing that first set , slightly different number but same in every detail only lasted 2.5 years. The contacts below the tweeter rusted on both speakers and eventually fell apart. They in ceiling of kitchen , not near any cooking areas and bedroom above , so don’t accept could be moisture.
