Upraded my listening experience
I recently upgraded to this turntable after learning about magnetic cartridges. The sound quality is rich, full, and incredibly detailed—like I’m hearing my favorite albums for the first time all over again. The magnetic cartridge captures every nuance in the music, from the deepest bass to the softest high notes, and there’s a warmth to it that digital music just can’t replicate.Setting it up was fairly easy, and the tracking accuracy is spot on, minimizing skips and distortion. The build of the turntable feels solid, and it’s clear that the attention to detail in the design extends to the performance. I also love how the magnetic cartridge adds an extra layer of precision, allowing the stylus to track the grooves with minimal friction. If you’re a vinyl enthusiast looking for that next level of quality, this turntable with a magnetic cartridge is definitely worth the investment. It’s not just about playing records—it’s about rediscovering them in the best possible way.

Don't let its sharp appearance fool you!!
Those that know me, know me for speaking the truth, off the cuff and unapologetically. I'm not going to say what I really would like to, because this is a public forum, but, if you are tempted to purchase this unit, or any unit like it, PLEASE think carefully before you proceed. I have been buying vinyl records since the very early 1970's, and high-quality turntables since 1980, so I know what I am talking about. For the unit's asking price, the entire tonearm assembly is horribly flimsy and cheap in build and quality. The directions said that the unit was pre-adjusted for the tracking weight (should be about 3 to 3.5 grams) for the supplied cartridge. Don't you believe it!! I had to remove the aluminum platter in order to provide room to balance the tone arm. The unit also has a pitch control. If you play an LP at its "recommended" pitch of zero, you are actually playing at roughly 38 to 40 rpm, instead of the normal 33 1/3. Elton John sounded like he was breathing too much helium!! Fortunately, with the pitch control most all of the way to the left, you can get him to sound normal. The only positives I have about the unit are the solid feel to the unit's base, and the equally solid dust cover. Otherwise, the entire tonearm assembly is a P.O.S.!!! It just makes a nice-looking unit, a pretty piece of furniture, that's about it.I bought this unit to bring to my mother's nursing home to play music for her and some of her fellow residents, because I did not want to continue to haul my Audio Technica ATLP1240USBXP turntable, with an amp and speakers round with me in my small car (we're talking 90 pounds to lug that equipment around). I'm really concerned about playing my valued records on it. Hopefully, since I will be the only one who will operate it, HOPEFULLY there be no harm done to the records. For those who are starting out in the vinyl world, and if you live in or around a big city, try to find and buy a refurbished classic turntable, amp, and speakers (hopefully of Japanese origin and build - they are among the best for the buck) at a local shop near you. Almost all of the brands from the 1970's and 1980's are going to be good to go with (Pioneer, Sony, Onkyo, Technics, among many others - they were all, for the most part, pretty well built). Before you buy, you will want to make sure that the equipment has been restored and well-cared for. Remember, I am talking about equipment that is 35-50 years old, and they will need some tender loving care, considering their age and use history. If you can only buy through the mail, then I would suggest the ATLP1240 turntable, which you can buy brand new here on Amazon. It is not cheap (about $600), but, with that $600, you are buying a solid, high-quality, high-performance machine. One last piece of advice, if you can't do vinyl to right way, then you should not do it at all!! Modern vinyl LPs are amazing indeed, and a rewarding and fun experience to those who did not grow up with them as I did; their sound is second-to-none, when played with care on the proper equipment. Just don't be misled with flowery words and fancy pictures, when you are unknowingly being led into a field of meadow-muffins!! Good Luck to all of you!!!

Good Starter
I’m excited to continue to use this record player! I started out with a Crosley suitcase turntable - it has served me well as a first time user and have been looking for an upgrade as my love of vinyl grows. This has a clean aesthetic, easy to use and decent sound quality for the price.

Simple to use!
Easy to use simple record player, I can’t complain about it as it is just simple enough that I can figure out, and you can use it with any size record with adapters. I hook it up to my speakers and it plays great, just remember to keep it on a flat surface because you do not want to have any scratching or issues in that regard. It works with Bluetooth which is a big upgrade from your old timey vinyl players!

Happy with it!
Honestly, this thing looks great and works well. I opened it right away as soon as I got it.Wish the sound could go a little higher, but that’s what the external speakers are for. Overall happy with its look and it sounds smooth.

Love the Bluetooth Transmitter!
I've bought a couple less expensive record players in recent years. Speaker quality is always an issue and I dont have a stereo system with an input jack anymore. I wanted something that would connect to an external speaker using Bluetooth which isn't common. Most record players have a Bluetooth input which makes no sense to me. I connected this to my Google speaker via Bluetooth and it sounds amazing!! I've always been interested in collecting vinyl but didn't have a way to really enjoy it. This will definitely give me a way to really crank up the music and enjoy that vinyl sound. I think the price is what I should expect to pay for something good and I think that's what I got. Definitely the upgrade I was looking for.
