Great bag, is waterproof, the zippers haven't jammed on me. its perfect. not too big either, I love bags that are just simple and feature 1 large component, laptop sleeve, and 1 small front component. my only complaint is that it only has 1 bottle holder and its pretty tight and difficult to put bottles in, but other than that I'm very grateful for this bag.

Works well for fitting all my sons needs for college campus walks

It’s plain and simple backpack which I like. I was expecting it to be a big backpack as the name implies XL. It’s made of quality materials which is nice. I’ll be using it for travel but I wish it could have been bigger to be able to carry a lot of stuff. Can’t complain coz I bought it on sale.

Purchased this for a trip to Alaska because my jansport of recent years just wasn’t the same quality of the old ones.Herschel makes great, stylish products. Zippers are great and don’t get stuck or snag. Straps are beefy and hold their position. Comfortable on the back even when full. Would buy again.

Good sturdy roomy bag. Fabric is very good quality and so are the zips and closures. The laptop pocket is large enough to also hold folders and notebooks. Large interior holds lunch and large pencil xase with plenty of extra room. Nice big flap in the front to hold wallet, keys, phone, etc. Wish it had another zip pocket inside, but other than that, no bells and whistles, just a solid bag. Would buy it again.

My first Herschel backpack was purchased in 2018! I took it around the world to different countries with me, then my son stole it from me for school. The straps are comfy even with heavy loads they don’t dig into your shoulders.My other son wanted one so he got one too. Well, each school year I asked my kids if they wanted a new backpack to which they said no no no. Year after year after year.Well, I finally purchased them new ones, because even though the original ones were still in pretty good shape the colors had faded from the kiddos walking to school in sunny Southern California. But besides that the bags were in great shape!That’s 6-7 years of use. From school aged kids!I wish the new bags had as many pockets as the original ones but they serve their purpose for what my kids need them for.
