Compact efficiency meets seamless integration for small businesses!
When I first started shipping products regularly for my small business, I quickly realized that a reliable label printer was essential to streamline operations. After some research, I decided to go with this Zebra ZP230, and so far, I’m happy with its performance. Setting it up was straightforward. I downloaded the latest drivers from Zebra’s website, connected the printer via USB, and my computer recognized it immediately. Within minutes, I was printing sharp and professional-looking labels directly from QuickBooks and UPS WorldShip. The thermal printing technology eliminates the need for ink or toner, saving me both time and money. The ZP230 is compact, taking up very little space on my table, which is a big plus since I run a very small setup. Its 203 DPI resolution delivers crisp, scannable labels. The included Jet Set software is great and makes customization very easy, allowing me to tweak label designs as needed. While the printer’s speed of 5 inches per second is okay for my current shipping volume, it might feel a bit slow for higher-demand operations. Additionally, the 4-inch label width is perfect for standard shipping needs but could be limiting if you require larger or specialized labels. Overall, I’d say this printer has been great for my business, making shipping efficient and error-free. It’s an excellent option for small to medium-sized operations looking for reliability and ease of use at an affordable price.Bottom line:The Zebra ZP230 is a reliable, compact thermal printer perfect for small businesses. It offers easy setup, crisp label printing, and seamless integration with shipping platforms like UPS WorldShip and QuickBooks. While its speed and label size may not suit high-volume or specialized needs, it’s an excellent choice for efficient and affordable shipping. I highly recommend it and give it a 5-star rating without any doubts.Pros:1. Easy setup and USB connectivity.2. Clear, scannable labels with 203 DPI resolution.3. Compact design saves space.4. No ink or toner needed, reducing costs.5. Compatible with various shipping platforms.Cons:1. Moderate printing speed for large batches.2. Limited to standard 4-inch label width.

Overall does the job
For the price of this printer, I think this is a good product. I had some minor issues with it, but overall it does what I need it to do once you put a lot of effort into figuring it out.My Pros:- Great quality print, and you get to choose the level of quality you want. This affects speed. Even with the highest quality level, I felt that it still went pretty quickly.- Small and compact and lightweight.- No ink or toner! It's such a cost effective way to print labels and other black and white stickers you may need.My Cons:- I consider myself pretty tech savvy, but even after reading all of the instructions, I couldn't get this printer to be recognized on my computer. I had to enlist my extremely tech savvy partner who took about 20 minutes to set it all up.- It does not come with a couple test print papers. Make sure to purchase what you need separately ahead of time.- I cannot get this weird pattern to stop printing on my sheets (in the photo). It has to be in the settings, but I have not been able to find it. The pattern is NOT on my PDFs. It's the same exact pattern on each page printed. The amount of time I've spent trying to figure this out is not ideal.

Not disclosing on Amazon that their products are not new! BEWARE BEWARE!!!!
Seller is selling refurbished thermal printers and not disclosing this on Amazon. They are selling this crap for more than a new one! Had to return the original for not working. Got the other piece of crap as a replacement and that one did not work. This company hurt my business by selling junk and not listing as refurbished. I spent hours and hours with UPS and Zebra Technical support. Beware they do not sell NEW products!!!! Do not order from North Point Distribution!!!
