Perfect for Race Day
Get this now! It worked perfectly for our go kart race day! Speeds matched perfectly with our radar gun. This time the doubt out for the drivers. We were able to conserve our battery consumption. We installed it with small orange battery from SIXTHGU SO3, Velcro Command Strips, and a small amount of duck tape. One portable charger provided enough power for both 1 hour heats.

Product description
The media could not be loaded. It says it’s in miles per hour in all the pictures and description. When I got it, it was in kilometers per hour. Check out the video and the instructions. No way it tells you you can change it to mph. Unfortunately I live where you can’t ship it back. So I’m out the money. be aware.

Just the speed, ma'am
The Yaouzicn GPS Heads Up Display Speedometer is just what the name implies: a GPS speedometer. "Heads Up" here means that you can sit it on top of the dash near your line of sight; it does not project onto the windshield like a true HUD. The displays in the Amazon description show either MPH or Km/H, but you can't change it so be sure to order the version you need. The unit comes with the GPS receiver / speed display, a 6-foot micro-USB cord, and a couple of double-stick mounting tapes. Sit it on the dash, plug it in, and it works. The somewhat fractured English user guide really isn't needed. If you don't have a USB plug in your vehicle, you will need to provide a USB power supply.Since the unit must synchronize with the GPS (and/or Chinese BeiDou) satellites, it needs a clear view of the sky to work and it will need a minute or two to start up when power is applied. Two dashes means it is still searching for the satellite signal. The display has a slight sun hood, but the bright green, 1.25" numbers are legible in direct sunlight if a bit bright at night. There is very little lag in displaying the speed.I marked it down to 4 stars because the unit displayed speeds a few percent higher than Google Maps and a separate speedometer app on my Pixel 8 Pro phone running Android 14, depending on the vehicle speed. It read 1 to 2 mph higher than the speedometer in my car, which I believe to also read slightly higher than actual speed.Overall, it's an easy to use, simple to set up, and easy to read speedometer with no complications.
