So far happy with my purchase. Looks just like the photo. So far it keeps time and looks reasonably classy for the price point. Wish that the numbers were a bit bolder to be able to see it from accross the room (12? feet away). Really wish that that there was a second hand sweep. I always fear that a clock would stop and I wouldn't realizenot until later on when comparing it to another clock. You can see the gear turning on the back, but that part is fa ing the wall. Anyway, it looks very nice and it is worth purchasing. If you ate looking for a clock of this size, this is the ONLY one available no matter what website that you check where it’s not too small, a replacement miniclock to go inside of a frame, or 1 inch too big. So yes, buy with confidence. Of you want the same one, but a genuine antique, you will have to pay a fee hundred dollars. (I am a budding horologist.)

It's small scale and a perfect addition to my co-op apartment small living room -- I also bought the other one that is oval for my bathroom. They're lovely and a good buy, plus silent!

Easy to adjust time, silent (perfect for your bedroom), elegant and very easy to recognize the time from over 40 feet. Metal body makes it look more expensive and even though the bezel is plastic, it appears high quality and resistant to scratches when dusting or cleaning. NICE CLOCK!

Kind of cheesy looking. It's in my bathroom so it's not seen, but I would not like it in other rooms more public. Runs fine so far.
