So far, so good - 2 week review
I’m 2 weeks in on having the unit fully populated with 12TB WD HC520 disks. I’m using this as a redundant copy setup with stablebit drivepool and stablebit scanner. No issues notes so far with the unexpected disconnects during disk scanning and data transfer. It is not a speed demon for file transfers but seems to be stable or consistent for extended operations. Drive temps are good. With 5 disks installed I just put a 120mm usb powered fan on top and temps stay in the 80-90F range. No issues with reboots of the computer. There is a rocker power switch so the unit remains powered without having to be restarted. On power on the disks connect 1 at a time. I have not had any disk sleep/wake issues.

Spoofs the Serial of the drives connected
Like BS magic the Serial of all 5 drives connect are the same. The Serial is not the correct for any of the 5 drives. All numbers VS the expected letter and number for this model of HDD.Vendor & Model are simmer to what they should be but not correct.Useless.

Fabulous Mass Storage solution with clone feature
In my case, I had 3 separate drive bays to house my Server External storage. 3 and 4 TB drives, often falling offline, etc. This has been rock solid. Although I don't use it, there is a simple source to target drive clone function which could really be handy if you have a huge drive to clone...set it and walk away. Clone without computer, so it would be handy for that use alone. Of course, it also supports 2.5" drives as well, as we all begin to shift our mass storage to SSD drives. LEDs display on-line status per drive. No excuse not to do backups when you have a lot of mass storage available.

Interesting concept, but my first 2 clones failed.
I have yet to use this with two new-ish drives at once yet, but both of my cloning attempts have failed. One of them refused to start and the other the PC refused to boot with the new drive after a "successful" clone. I do realize that this could happen for a number of different reasons, but both old drives were booting into their OS before the clone attempt. As a USB drive host, it works very well. I have not tested it with more than 2 drives yet, but it could definitely serve a purpose!
