Great bottles!
These bottles are much better than my Stanleys. They are easier to open and close, lighter weight and work great. Never had one leak, unlike Stanley. Bought this color twice. First one came with a straw 1/4” too long so replaced with same item—easy with Amazon.

Good Alternative
Pretty good insulated stainless steel water bottle for the most part. The pink confetti is vibrant and as pictured (on my computer, anyways ;). I appreciate the handle loop at the top where you can have it up or down and it not being fixed in one spot. I actually had this in my purse. Fixed handled bottles don’t really fit in as well as this one. No leaks either. The one thing that took me a while to figure out is that when I try to sip the water out, it was very hard to. I had to put some effort into getting water out. I tried messing with the little stopper at the top and that didn’t work. I noticed the straw was touching the very bottom of the bottle, so I cut a very small section of it off at the end and viola! It fixed it! When I took a sip, it came out wonderfully and no effort at all! This does a pretty good job at keeping beverages cold. I put ice in it and it would last a good 4-6 hours, depending on where I’m at. I’m in Arizona, the Valley of the Sun and it’s wicked hot here like an oven, so for ice to still be in a water bottle speaks volumes. I do have to say, I did have a better experience with Thermoflasks, who is also owned by Takeya here. The Thermoflasks are my favorite and they hold cold water so much longer than any other water bottle I have tried. And I have tried many! The loop on the Thermoflasks also seems better quality made. I have a different Takeya water bottle and the carrying loop is very loose and I’m afraid it’s going to snap off. I have had no issues whatsoever with Thermoflasks. They even feel more solid compared to Takeya here.Overall I gave it 4 stars because it is still a great water bottle. Living in a very hot state, I’m being considerate on how long cold water lasts in these bottles. I just think Takeya’s Thermoflask is better quality, and they are around the same price point, so if you’re going to spend it on functionality, I’d definitely buy a Thermoflask. If these Takeya styles/aesthetics are what you are more into, their water bottles definitely offer that and many options! Also, Thermoflasks have different sizes than Takeya’s, so if you’re looking for a specific size, check out both brands to compare ;)

Typically great but handle issues with this one
love takeya water bottles and this color is so cute! But had to exchange it because the small metal plug that holds the handle in place slipped out. The same thing is happening with the replacement. We’ve never experienced this with the other 10 bottles i’ve bought over 6 years so i’m not sure what’s up with this specific color.

Really Cute--But Leaks Like a Sieve!
The media could not be loaded. My sister bought Takeya water bottles because of their reputation for my kids six years ago as a gift when we adopted them. We liked to hike and also carry our own water when out and about and those bottles were an instant hit. Very nice. Held temp, nice carry handles that didn't break, easy to clean, just well-designed quality water bottles. One was stolen, one lost, and on the next "occasion" a new one would appear. So when the younger child, who was a baby back then and has only had whatever we found on sale, was turning seven, I ordered her this one. The others had the lid with the little lid that unscrewed, and this one has a pop-up straw--but that was all that was available on this cool lavender, splash-painted one. This child likes the straw ones anyway. But it leaks like a sieve!!!! While drinking it drips! (We usually pull the inside straw and tip to drink--which she didn't actually do, but tipped it because that was what she's used to) I closed it and tipped it and it just drips continually. I looked to see if the seal looked damaged or anything, but it looks fine. Not super-functional since part of the point is that you don't have to keep it upright!!! I've contacted Takeya, but I'm within the Amazon return window so I'm giving them until Friday--my daughter needs this and it was for her birthday besides; I'm not going to be overly patient. I'll update with what Takeya does.
