The map looked amazing when I put it up on an inside wall. Now it looks horrible. The layered wood pieces are separating and warping, apparently due to humidity. The sticky, gooey “tape” adhesive isn’t holding well, possibly due mostly to the warping of the wood. However, there are some small island pieces that haven’t really warped but also don’t stick.I would recommend to buy from a different manufacturer.

This wooden wall map is beautiful... detailed, well-crafted, and includes everything you need to hang it up. It is a project that will take a bit of time so my husband and I were waiting until some time off to do it. I will update my review with new pics as soon as I hang it. But from what I have seen so far, I'm super excited by the high quality wood pieces, smooth and shaped with care, and how good it looks. It's going to be a real statement piece in the home office.
