Great for remote disconnect of power at the source of a long extension or panel. Recommended for utility.

Remote Control Switch 1000 Meters Long Distance. 90-250 volts AC. Solid construction for both the switch and the remotes. Switch box has cover to protect the wires connected to the switch. There are manual ON/OFF buttons on the switch box (remote not required). The antenna is on a 39 inch long wire so it can be placed in the best location. The remotes are not small flimsy remotes. They are large remotes that fill the hand and have a good tactile feel. ON/OFF buttons are clearly marked on the remotes. The remote transmitting antenna can be extended to increase the transmission range. Remotes are powered by 9 volt batteries. Having two remotes makes using the switch easier to use. If the switch is used for driveway lighting or a powered gate then you can have a remote in two vehicles. I set up the switch with a 110V light bulb for testing. I was able to get 150 feet from the switch and the remote worked without problems. The layout of my property prevented testing beyond 150 feet. Very happy with this switch/remotes.
