Works great! My 75g was a complete mess and I couldn't even see my fin babies. I tried everything and was so hesitant to buy this filter. It's the more affordable option out of the uv filters for my size tank, so I wasn't sure if it would even get the job done. I was wrong and I'm so happy I made this purchase. It only took about 5 days to get it cleared. I've attached a before and after to show the results. I saved my fish tank and a few bucks as well. Great buy, highly recommend this filter.

I bought the first uv cleaning light and retrofitted an aquarium filter to work with it. Because I didn't realize that the same company offered pumps that were made to work with the lights.Anyway, I set the first one up in our stock tank, which holds 100 gallons of water. There are goldfish in it to prevent mosquitoes from developing in the tank and to take care of the algae, but they just couldn't keep up with the heat this summer.After adding the light, with the timer set to 24 hours, there was noticeable clearing within 3 days. I am using a 10 watt bulb with the 8 watt unit, not sure if it helps, but I thought it was worth a try.So then I decided to buy a second unit for our 35 gallon turtle tank. And that is when I discovered that there are pumps that work with the lights. I have a specific turtle tank filter that works well with the uv light, so I replaced the bulky aquarium pump in the stock tank.As it comes with a pre-filter, it is much easier to clean out the solids, as cattle tend to drop some cud in the tank. I can now see the goldfish all the way in the bottom of the tank!I only have to clean the turtle filter about half as often as before. What an amazing pro!

I bought this the end of January, 4 days ago it started making a funny noise. I shut it down because I dont want to short out and kill my fish! Don't waste your time here...its not worth it!

This filter did amazing things to my water and cleared it up from the black substrate mess to clear in 24 hours. I was pretty pleased. However, the filter does need to be cleaned every few days as it will stop with water movement if not cleaned. AND, I have lost 2 shrimp, 2 cardinal tetras, 1 yellow gourami and a peppered cory that were sucked into the filter at the bottom. The fish were small, about 1/2 to 1 inch long, so babies, but I didn't expect the gourami to be sucked in so quickly and the shrimp were pretty good size. A horrible way to die. I have purchased a cone filter sponge that from amazon that I use on the end of the filter to prevent this from happening. It fits perfectly but wish I had done this sooner. So, please be careful with your fish, use a filter and clean this every few days so that it continues to push water in the tank properly. Otherwise if not cleaned, it just completely stops.

The readout on it is messed up and doesnt push very much water.Company reached out to me and made it right by sending me a new one.

First one came with broken light. Sent a replacement. 2nd one had in about 3 days and it started making a really loud noise.

Wasn't sure at first because assembly was a little confusing, BUT, this thing packs a powerful punch. Cleared up an algae bloom in 3 days.
