We finally were able to use this cooler. We took it on our trip to Florida. It was loaded with items from the freezer and fridge as well as some ice cubes in crevices. We drove 15 hours then left the cooler in the car overnight in 46 degree temp. The next day we went another 8 hours in Florida temps before reaching our destination. When we finally emptied the cooler the items were still partially frozen and very cold. The individual ice cubes did melt so there was some water in the compartment BUT there was NO leakage from the cooler. NO leakage!!!The next day we took the cooler to the beach. We loaded it with ice packs and some cubes in a bag. The beverages and food stayed cold all day. The top compartment worked well for the crackers and the napkins stayed dry in their compartment as well. Using it as a backpack was perfect, it freed up an arm for the other beach necessities. We hope to use it a lot!!!

This thing has been used every weekday for over a year to keep my husband's lunch safe and edible while working in Atlanta's summer heat. It has a section, strap, pocket, or hook for everything he needs to keep on hand. He hasn't managed to break anything on it yet, so kudos to the manufacturer.

The handles on the bag and the large, front pocket are the best parts of this bag. I'm looking for a bag to go fishing with so wanted space to hold tackle, and accessories, plus have a space to hold some snacks that's separate from the catch. The bag's best features are the large handles that let you pick it up easily without having to sling it over your shoulder - I wish more designs would include this.BUT the drawbacks outweigh the benefits when it comes to a cooler backpack.1. The exterior fabric absorbs water. They are not water resistant at all which defeats the purpose of having watertight zippers, and makes for a cooler that's harder to rinse out.2. The bag cannot stand on its on without support of some sort internally. This makes for an awkward carry if the contents inside are not weight balanced to have the back sit against your back.3. Carrying a full bag of water or ice WILL get really heavy. The bag should have additional hip belts and load lifters to help make the carry comfortable.Will keep searching for that magical fishing backpack cooler.

This is a good cooler. Keeps my drinks cold. The only thing os that it leaks if tipped over.

Out of the hunters of backpacks for sale on here you never know if you're picking the right one. This is my third one and when I first took it out of the box I was worried that it wouldn't stand up because it was so floppy. But it took a week or so to take shape and it does set up nicely whether it's empty or full. It is insulated way better and put together better compared to my other ones. For the little extra money it cost it was well worth it.

I have not used it yet but it looks well made and has lots of room.

This cooler backpack has all the functionality you need! It keeps food/drinks cold for hours and doesn’t leak easily. The material is water resistant and seems very durable. The shoulder straps have extra padding which make it more comfortable to carry and there is a chest clip to help when the bag is heavy. We needed a bag that could hold all 4 of our bento boxes and this one does that with room to spare. The inside measures approximately 14x14x8 inches. It has plenty of storage space including clips on the front that are perfect for holding a picnic blanket. The side pockets are also large enough to hold large water bottles or 40oz tumblers. I’m very excited about this purchase and I think it’s a great value. I highly recommend this product!
