My car is 13 years old now and lacks the ability to connect with my phone. Even the Bluetooth won't connect, so I looked for an alternative. This type of solution is great as it avoids me draining my phone battery running as a navigation solution, and provides a bigger screen.The screen itself is nice - it's big and clear. You connect to the phone either via cable or Bluetooth. I use bluetooth as its just easier but even there you have options between Android Auto or mirror link. I go with the former. The screen can take power from my cigarette lighter and for audio out (things like navigation but also music) you can choose between the built in speaker, or connecting it a bunch of ways. As I don't have an Aux port I use the FM transmitter to leverage my car's sound system.The "killer" feature is the external GPS antenna so you can follow a route even if you phone loses connection. Indont use the reversing camera as my car already has one.Overall its a feature-packed system that delivers a lot of flexibility in the way you use it to suit your preferences, and I like that a lot.

It's an amazing accessory for older cars that don't have build in Android Auto head unit. Easy to setup and route the cables for the rear camera, power, and aux to the car's stereo.I haven't experienced any issues since installing it. I connect my phone to it wirelessly without any input from me. It has good sound quality and good quality from both the front and rear camera.

Slow to boot up, quite a lot of electrical interference noise when connected to AUX when device is booting up. Android apps not really optimised for device so exiting some of the apps seemed impossible and required a reboot. Once booted screen quality is excellent, but returned device as didn't want the slow boot times and electrical squeal every time it was booted.

The head unit on my car doesn't have android auto, rather than change the unit, I decided to try this after watching video reviews. Once I decided on placement of the included mount, set up was quite straightforward. Bluetooth to my head unit, and bluetooth from my phone to the carpuride unit. Sound quality is good. I had the included reverse camera fitted with an audio upgrade, everything works well. As a side note, If you use an android phone, I recommend poweramp graphic equaliser. Remember to go into the carpuride settings, and poweramp settings to allow all the features. Then enjoy!

The unit itself is excellent. Simple to setup and connects quickly each time I switch the car on. The only issue I have is the sticky adhesive mat that attaches the mount to the dash. Even on a mild day the adhesive will heat up and the mount will fall off. This has set the car alarm off multiple times. I’d recommend using the windshield mount that comes with it.

Manual provided which for some setting up wasn't very easy to follow / understand. Overall it's a simple operating system but requires some fuzzy logic to understand the instructions.Build quality for me is good, seems robust. Great screen size, clear images, sounds is good but nothing special. Not a fan of the mounting bracket, very underwhelming, works, but the connection to the back of the unit isn't very robust IMO. Is supplied with a couple of mounting options.The unit itself in operation works great once you've figured it out. Has a great selection of applications, and uses. From using maps to playing music, connecting your mobile phone etc. All very useful and a cheap(ish) way to modernise an old vehicles to new technology. Unit does support a variety of connectivity which is also excellent, giving me choices versus not.On summary, at the discounted price for me this is great value. Not sure I'd pay the full asking price.

Really great item. You can use this for Android or Apple Phones. You install it in to your car and then connect your phone (wirelessly) to the device so you can utilise apps on the large screen. Use Google Maps, Waze, Spotify, BBC Sounds etc. You can also watch YouTube etc, so it's very versatile. It would be best of wired in to the vehicles speaker system so it works just like a car stereo with all of the other perks. You can power via 12v cig lighter or I auusme you could wire in, which would be slick. It also comes with a reversing camera, which I haven't installed yet, but it looks to be better quality than the one I already have on my vehicle. This is definitely a better item than the cheaper options out there.
