Provolone at its best.
Authentic! Just like my cheese maker on Arthur Ave in the Bonx.

Classic Old World Provolone
This is the authentic imported sharp provolone my Sicilian grandparents used to buy in Buffalo, and we grew up on it and looked forward to every time they would visit and bring some. Fantastic with any Italian food, as an appetizer with pepperoni and salami, etc. Shipped fresh to you with cold freezer pack inside to keep it cool for a couple of days. This is the real deal, not domestic bland mild provolone. The price may look steep but you won’t find this authentic imported Auricchio anywhere cheaper by the pound. You will not regret grabbing a pound while it’s available.

Brought back memories of Dad!
Dad loved sharp provolone. Whenever I visited him in Wyoming, I had to stop at an Italian food store before leaving to make a care package of his favorites, which always included several pounds of provolone. When I opened the package, ah, the smell of sharp provolone, the pleasant biting taste... the memories of Dad brought tears to my eyes. Thank you!

Bite Your Tongue Cheese
This is my favorite brand of imported provolone cheese that I remember from my youth, when we called it "Bite Your Tongue" cheese. It took me awhile to realize that domestic provolone is not the same as the cheese I grew up with and lovedI usually buy some when I visit my hometown and go to the same Italian deli I grew up with, but I didn't go down this year. I found and ordered it on Amazon and it is tastes just as I remember.I received it yesterday and it was carefully packed with ice packs and was still cool upon arrival. I will definitely buy it from them again.

The cheese is very good, and the price isn't bad
I don't dislike anything about it.. I use it for sandwiches. and grate it for sauce.

Excellent in Italian dishes
This is sharp on the order of a pecorino romano but a soft cheese that melts into Italian dishes to add a sharp cheese flavor. Just outstanding.

Well. . .
It's usually harder and sharper, but this last time it was pretty soft and tasted young.

Delicious
A bit pricey, but OMG it might be the best sharp provolone that I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve been eating different brands, places of making and all different prices of it for 65 years.
