Replacing an older (5 years) coffee maker. After 4 1/2 years the predecessor to this model began to leak from the single-serve part as well as leaks from the bottom. We have a whole house filtration system so no minerals to cause rust and we replace the coffee maker's filters per recommendations. This replacement model has a slight improvement in the diameter of the water-fill as well as sturdier controls. Brewing is decent enough for the price range. I rate it 4 stars because there are few coffee makers with the stainless carafe, and that really keeps the coffee warm. Otherwise, I find this as well as far too many Cuisinart products we've owned as mediocre at best.

I opened the coffee maker about 1 hour after delivery and the box looked like someone beat it up. When I opened it, there was coffee grounds in the delivery box, the box that it came in and a used pod in the one side and used coffee filter in the tank of the unit. The unit had all dried used coffee grounds all inside the unit and inside the box.Very dissatisfied with the NEW unit that looked USED!!! Not only did I ORDER a Cusinart Coffee Maker, in the Box was a Hamilton Beach machine!!!

Great product. Coffee stays hot, cleans easily.

We have had problems with this product breaking through the top of the coffee pods and filling the coffee cup with grounds while it's brewing. We complained to Cuisinart and they sent a new plastic cup that holds the pod, which didn't change anything. When we complained further, they agreed to replace the brewer if we sent them a picture of the unit with the power cord cut off at the base of the unit. The new unit does exactly the same thing as the first one. It does not puncture the top of the pod cleanly all the time, but rather caves it in allowing a lot of the grounds to overflow out the top of the pod creating a huge mess and dumping grounds into the cup. Think twice before ordering this particular machine. I will edit this when we find out how Cuisinart is going to handle it from here.

Works great!! We like the metal coffee pot, helps keep the coffee hot. The Keurig is convenient for a quick cup of coffee or tea too

The coffee pot/cake cup pot that I purchased was not exactly what I needed. Once I used it, I realize that the warming plate for the coffee pot had no control. Once the coffee is made, it cuts off the coffee in the thermal pot only stayed warm for about 30 minutes. Not what I wanted.
