Baseus Open Ear Headphones - Eli Sport 1

These earbuds at this price range have become my measuring stick of what I know is possible at this price point. I love how these sound, amazing bass (you can feel the thump in your ear), yet the treble still sounds crisp and the vocals sound nice. So the app has "low-frequency enhancement" after many hours of listening I have found that this feature adds too much to the bass, it starts to wash out the mids, plus if you want to use this feature you have to re-enable it every separate session. I have found their jazz eq mode has best balance including punchy base and this doesn't have to be reentered every time I turn the earbuds on. Now the biggest turn off to some will be the complete lack of sound isolation, but this is a major plus for me with 4 kids and 5 furry friends. It really is like having a nice set of speakers playing music in the room only I don't have to worry about what anyone else wants to listen to and I can still hear what's going on around me. Well done Baseus!

I was looking for open ear phone because I wanted to listen to music without feeling uncomfortable due to piercings I have that make other earbuds difficult to wear without them falling out constantly.Initial Thought Immediately After Receiving: They sound so good! They were fairly easy to connect to my phone and they come with an app to adjust sound quality and other settings. I don't know much about that stuff but the app comes with many presets that I played a bit with. The touch controls are adjustable in the app but they're fairly easy and straightforward. They're louder than I expected which I'm pretty happy about! The loudest means you can't hear your environment as much, it's definitely still there but I figure that's to be expected with this style of headphone. I don't think it's loud enough to make it super obvious to others what you're listening to, even at the loudest setting but it is still a bit audible. Edit: I was wrong, it's very audible lol but again to be expected, just lower the volume a bit around others. It doesn't mess with the quality in my opinion. Back to original: They are super comfortable to wear, I wear glasses and they don't bother me at all. They don't go inside the ear so my piercings were unbothered which is great! I have a daith conch and rook if that helps anyone. They feel pretty secure, I haven't tried working out with them yet but I plan to since these hopefully won't fall out the way my others do. The connecting cord is a super handy add on, I'm always worried about losing these kinds of things. The app does have a way of finding them, I'm assuming only short range. The case is a bit bigger but not a nuisance and they made it as thin as they could. I can't keep the connecting cord on them while they're in their case. Overall, I think these are a great buy! I'll update if my opinion changes but 10/10 right now!

Got these a week ago and paired them up with my iphone 15 pro max and my samsung tv.sound quality is very good with good soundstage and hits a decent volume, enough that my wife could hear them at about 80 percent volume. they will get louder if you use the CUSTOM eq mode. the built in eq's in the app will also change the volume a little bit depending on which one you choose. i like the CLEAR EQ option most. i tested battery life and with mixed use i got 10 hours! i repeated this the next day and got 10 hours 9 minutes. so battery life for me was outstanding. these charge pretty quickly in the case and 10 minutes brought to 42 percent from dead. I like best is how i can wear them for hours and hours without any discomfort compared to my in ears, pixel buds pro, sony WF-1000XM4. the in ear hurt my ears after a couple hours but i can wear the eli sports all day with no issues. do they sound as good as my sony's? NO , but for a quarter of the price they sound about as 75 percent as good and i will actually wear them. so that in itself makes them better to me. the touch controls have i little bit of a learning curve but are easy to adapt to. The app was easy to download and use and shows charge state on your phone. I got them for 49.00 on amazon with the 20 coupon, a great deal ,for all these Eli sports offer.So, for me im a happy customer and would recommend these to other folks.PRO: Great battery life, very good sound quality, all day comfort, easy to use, phone conversations sounded as good as my SonyWF-1000XM4, great price point.CONS: No wireless charging, small learning curve for touch controls.John S.
