Really helpful
These are just what I needed to help my daughter teach me the phonics she's been learning in reception. Check your kids are using the same schema before you get them as different ones use different mnemonics.

Perfect to help home learning
I bought these to support home learning. Be careful as each school can choose their own scheme to follow when it comes to phonics. These support the ELS scheme and what they use in my sons school so it's been perfect to continue home learning. Other schemes teach phonics differently so could cause confusion if you get the wrong scheme.

Well made cards, clear text and colour images. Some of the sentences seem a touch small.
The media could not be loaded. The design of the pack of cards is good. They are easy to handle, even with young children getting their hands on. They've got a semi matt gloss like coating makes them easy to clean and wipe down if children are holding them if they have sticky hands. The instruction provide suggestions on use and ideas of games to play to sound out the word. It's a nice introduction to phonetics.

Good pack
This is a good set of phonics flashcards for helping your 4 year old to practice their phonics when they start school. The cards are a good size and are fairly sturdy. It’s worth checking with your child’s school which phonics programme they follow. This pack is different to the programme my son’s school uses so the pictures on the cards and the descriptions reminding the child how to draw the letters are of limited use as I do not want to confuse him. However, most phonics courses seem to teach the sounds in the same order so once you get into the blended sounds and words they are useful no matter what programme the school is using.

Great phonics tool
From working in a school and with children around speech and language these cards are super. They have beautiful pictures and illustrations of the word to help and then just the word on the reveres to start to get your child to recognise letters and sounds.A super bundle of 55 cards with words you wouldn’t always say but really help with the language development. Recommended.

Good resources pack, part of 3
These are well made and quite thick so hopefully long lasting. We are only just started exploring reading and phonics and we found these quite helpful to work with at home, after school days. The prints are clear and well done, text is visible and easy to read. This pack is part of 3, so to get the full experience you need to purchase the other 2 separately. Still, quite fun and educational resource, my little one likes them and I can recommend.
