I used this as a mount for a float switch in my bilge. Much easier than trying to attach the switch through my small bilge access opening. Then I wire-tied it in place, just to make sure it wouldn't shift. Unusual application, I know. But for my purposes, this was the perfect solution.

I am a hobby machinist. I am going to make mating dovetails with this aluminum.

It is what is says, quality seems good and the finish or the edges is good. Smooth but not rounded over edges.
