Light, sturdy, and tall enough
I have a regular stepladder I’m quite fond of, but it doesn’t get me high enough in a house with 9 ft ceilings. I needed something taller so I could get into the upper kitchen cabinets and change fire alarm batteries without difficulty. This one is perfect for the job. It is super-lightweight, which is good for a disabled person and a couple of elderly ones, and though it is narrow, I have no problem climbing up and getting to what I need. I love how flat it folds for storage; it sits leaning unobtrusively against the side of a cabinet, in a space that otherwise would be unused, and no one even really notices it’s there. It also looks a lot fancier and nicer than my utility step ladder, so that’s a plus; it means I don’t feel weird keeping it out and handy, instead of stowing it away somewhere no one will see. A pretty great stepladder, all told, for my needs.

This is a great product- practical, decorative and useful
I did not go looking for a ladder- never wanting my 82 year old husband to even think about climbing on one to change a light bulb etc.but I bought this out of necessity when I got locked into my yard by mistake and had to think about getting out by climbing over the fence- At age 74 with mobility problems, this was unthinkable so I had lots of criteria. Easy to manage in an emergency and yet where would I store a ladder in my small apt.? And how unattractive would an emergency ladder look? Then I found this that doubles as decoration for plants and books. It came fully assembled ( which even our repair-person could not believe) folds easily, is lightweight and looks good. And I feel safer in my house and around my home knowing I have a ladder I could use in an emergency.

Very Light Weight, Handy and Easy to Fold
I have been a guy who has used traditional aluminum step ladders for years. I bought a 3-step stool a few years ago and was sold on these in comparison to traditional ladders. Light weight, easy to manueuver, easy to fold and unfold, can use in tighter spaces, etc. So I bought this one to ditch my 5-step traditional aluminum ladder. This one is much better to work with for the reasons just mentioned. Yes, traditional aluminum ladders are light as well (as is fiberglass) but this product is lighter still by about 6-7 lbs. And it is just plain easier over traditional step ladders to set up and fold up and use in tighter spaces. Traditional ladders tend to bang into walls. Not this one. It has very secure rubber ends and because you can lift it easily, you don't tend to bang it into things. About the only thing I don't like is that the steps narrow a bit as you go to the top. However I usually don't move side to side much on ladders, so it isn't an inconvenience and the topmost step is much deeper than the lower steps. For that matter ALL of the steps on this ladder are deeper than most traditional aluminum step ladders so you feel very secure. It is very sturdy and I weigh about 170.

Functional as advertised; Bad assembly ruins sleek look
Almost perfect but some genius thought good idea to put the protective plastic that guards the metal finish of the ladder legs UNDER the cross braces so it is impossible to cleanly remove all of the plastic to see the nice gloss metal finish without having to disassemble the ladder first.

Best Ladder Ever
Best ladder ever - I have never liked climbing ladders but this is light weight and stable with nice wide steps and is tall enough that I can change my own HVAC ceiling filters even tho I am only 5’ 2” - YAY
