I wish I had bought this to begin with
When I first saw this item, I felt like it was a waste to block BOTH USB-c ports just to plug in other electronics.Boy was I wrong because the connection was always interrupted.NOW, with this plugged into BOTH ports, the connection is NEVER interrupted if I move or bump my Surface.I can now move files around without getting that annoying alarm letting me know I lost connection with one of my ports.This little gadget is well made, sturdy and durable. It works great and there's no interruption. Great value for the money.CON:This should've been my first purchase for extra USB ports.

Great for travel!
I have a USB C that I use at home and keep this guy in my computer bag for travel days. I like that it's lightweight and small for my carryon, and doesn't dangle when I'm carrying my surface around. So far, I've been across the country two times with it, NYC, and to Cincinnati two times and it has held up to being kicked under an airplane seat. I've recommended it to my team, and anyone else who will listen. Lol

Not a fan!
Not sure why but this does not “seat” properly and I have to wiggle it and rearrange it and move it over and over until I find the “sweet spot” for it to connect properly. It’s so frustrating. I do like that it has many ports for various different devices.

Cheap quality. Worked for a short time, then no longer maintained a tight plug-in.
It worked perfectly, then all of a sudden, it lost its ability to maintain a tight connection, so I had to constantly wiggle and jiggle it or prop something against it to hold it in place. It was purchased less than two years ago and is rarely used. So, the quality just isn't what I had hoped for and I expected it to last much longer.
